"guess who it is!" el sang and covered eli's eyes from behind just as he shut his locker.

he laughed, grasping onto his hands, "hm, i have no idea." he then gasped, "wombmate!? is that you!?"

she smiled as he turned around and held her hands besides them, "how was your last class?"

"t'was amazing," she grinned then cupped his face, "mike has to take karen to a doctors appointment so me and you can have a fun day together, can you leave yet or do you have practice today?"

"no practice," he grinned widely and pulled her close for a hug, "hm, let's go get some ice cream and then we can maybe watch a movie and then eat some dinner... how does that sound?"

"amazing," she gave him a smile and he smiled back and pecked her hair.

"i love you," she whispered and pulled back as he cupped her chin, "your makeup looks nice today,"

she gasped and her eyes light up, "really?"

"mhm, yeah," he wrapped an arm around her shoulder and they began to walk out of the school.

"i tried to do some different highlights today and i used a different mascara," she told him as he held the door open for her.

"you look beautiful, sis," he told her honestly in a quiet tone and she looked up and went to kiss his cheek.

"thank you,"

he nodded and led her down the road as she looked down to her feet.

"has mama and papa said anything about me?" she asked him. she thought by now they would've dragged her back home.

they would have never let her left which was weird as to why they never called or showed up in front of her.

she honestly was scared as to what they were planning because this was not them.

this was out of the ordinary.

"no, actually they haven't," his eyebrows furrowed, "which is weird. they aren't pissed either, they were smiling."

and then it hit her.

she stopped walking and he stopped with her in confusion, "what is it?"

slowly, she looked up as her breath hitched, "they're going to kill me,"

"so why are we staring at this pier?" mike asked as el tilted her head at the view, "i.. i have never been here in my life. yet i feel like i have,"

"your usual deja vu?" mike asked and she nodded slowly and turned to face him.

"how was your day with eli?" he asked her as she leaned down to his shoulder, "fine, yeah, it was fine," she lied to him.

there was no point in telling him, she would just deal with it herself.

and with the help of eli and the others of course.

"was it?" he was suspicious at her tone but seeing her expression, he didn't want to bring it up.

"you okay, dove?" he asked her and she nodded and laid her arms on the railings as she stared at the water, "i love you, mike."

he slowly smiled out. "i know. and i love you too,"

she grinned at him then wrapped her arms around his neck, "do you trust me, baby?"

he held back a worried expression as the deja vu hit him this time. "el, what are you planning?"

she shook her head. "what makes you think i'm planning something."
