"so you're on meds, that's good," el smiled as she sway her and eli's hand, "does therapy help you?"

slowly, he nodded. "yeah.. lola helps. she helps me understand certain things,"

"that's great then," she leaned against his arm, "im sorry i didn't notice sooner or if i—"

"el, it really wasn't your fault." he laughed it off with a small chuckle, "mom and dad just gave me too much pressure and stuff, i just didn't know how to deal with it all. and i guess i was a tiny bit afraid to lose you but.. you didn't do this,"

"did i ever trigger you?" el asked him and stopped walking down the sidewalk, "and be honest. please,"

he only stared at her for a few a seconds before he slowly nodded, "but it was just once. i just... you just made me realise how it would fucking suck if you actually left and that i would be alone."

el inspected his reaction then spoke up. "you would've followed behind, wouldn't you?"

he nodded lightly once.

slowly, she began to smile and she threaded her fingers with his, "well then, it seems we are going to be together here for a very long time because i don't plan on leaving any time soon."

he slowly grinned from ear to ear then he nodded.

"good," he murmured, "then i don't either,"

"it is a deal then," she removed her hand from his then held it out to him for him to shake, "wombmate forever?"

he laughed and shook it, "wombmates forever,"

"and what are the consequences if someone breaks this little deal?" el tilted her head and questioned as he hummed and tapped his chin.

"we beat the shit outta the other?"

her eyes light up, "yay! then it's settled!" she smiled and then turned and tugged him down the street, "you know i'd beat the hell outta you if we were to fight,"

he laughed, wrapping his arm around her shoulder before he ruffled her hair, "i fucking bet,"

"love you!" he smiled, squeezing her face with a hand as she frowned, "oi, fuck off!"

"mommy is pissed, isn't she?" el peeled over eli's shoulder with a smirk as he chuckled and typed a quick reply, "yeah,"

she laid on his shoulder from behind then kissed his temple, "sometimes i can't believe how we're twins,"

"what do you mean?"

"it's just.. we're not identical. i mean well, we aren't identical twins so it makes sense but, i wish we were more alike," she murmured quietly then circled his body to sit on the couch next to him.

"i mean we're both depressed, is that not enough?" he joked with a smirk which made her giggle and nod, "right.."

"el?" mike walked downstairs and smiled when she turned around on the couch to face him.

"hi," she waved, "you don't mind eli staying over for dinner right?"

he walked over to her and kissed her cheek, "of course not. wanted to ask if you wanted something to drink,"

"no thank you," she then nudged eli, "want something?"

he shook his head, "i'm okay, thank you,"

"want some cheesecake?" mike asked with a knowing look and eli and el both gave each other a look.

mike chuckled at their expressions, "i'll bring you guys a slice," he shook his head with a laugh before he went to the kitchen.

"you know, he's quite nice," eli spoke up, "i'm glad you found someone like him, el. you deserve it,"
