"bader," el babbled and held her arms out towards emerson since she couldn't pronounce the word 'brother'.

"what is it, sunshine?" he asked, picking her up from the ground from under the arms as she clung onto him tightly and flailed her arms in the air.

"poof!" she giggled as a lighting of green hit the stack of plates besides the sink and it all toppled over and smashed into small pieces of glass.

"el," he groaned as emilio came running in due to the loud bang.

"what's wrong?" he then turned, "oh jesus what happened?" his eyes widened as emerson quickly placed el into his arms.

"bader!" she laughed and giggled as emilio rocked her back and forth, "you are a very bad baby!"

she only tilted her head before laying against his chest. "comfy,"

"mom can't see this!" emerson exclaimed, "go get a maid! she's going to—"

"going to what?" terry walked in before her eyes widened, "what happened in here!?"

el watched her mothers expression then bursted out into a fit of giggles, "mama!" she wanted to reach out to her but instead terry smacked the magazine in her hands onto the counter.

el jolted and flinched and clung onto emilio in fear.

"did you do this!? did you—"

"mom, no," emerson cut her off, "i did. i was trying to grab the top plate to eat something but then it all came down."

terry exhaled then turned to him, "oh, my sweet boy, we have maids."

"they weren't around. i'll clean it up, i promise," he said, "please don't yell at el. she did nothing wrong, mama,"

she exhaled in annoyance and pointed at emilio, "get her out of here."

he quickly nodded, "yes, mama," he whispered and practically ran out with the fear of his mother hurting her.

"mama.. mama no like?" el pouted as emilio stroked her back, "it's okay, sunflower. we will play upstairs where your other brothers are."

"rara," she looked up into his eyes with her doe eyes wide and he grinned and chuckled at how she pronounced ezra's name.

"yes, with rara." he climbed up the stairs slowly so he wouldn't trip and drop her.

"dada?" she asked and looked at the direction of his office.

"sorry, sunflower, he's working,"

"dada.. no play... me,"

he frowned. their parents only played with eli and ezra and not once picked el up.

"maybe some other day," emilio gently said before taking her to the playroom where everyone played.

her eyes slowly opened and for a second she had no idea where she was. everything was hurting, especially her abdomen but the tight grip on her heart hurt the most.

she tried to sit up, but she was in too much pain to even try to move an inch.

"el?" mike sat up straighter from his slumped position on the chair and held her hand, "oh thank god, you're awake now,"

she studied his expression and he titled his head in confusion, "el?"

"it hurts," she began to cry, "i can't move," she sobbed as the memories of the moment right before she blacked out came to mind, "mike,"
