"Noona where are the towels?" Sunghoon shouted from the bathroom. "Check the cupboard you fool!" she yelled back. Sunghoon cursed under his breath, rashly rummaging through the array of equipment stored beneath the sink.

He was on babysitting duty.

It had been seven months since Winter got pregnant and the couple was expecting the appearance of their little one in two more months. It had become a routine for Sunghoon to stay with his sister-in-law while Jay was out for work.

Jay didn't entrust outside help to look after Winter, and as much as he wanted to stay home for the next two months, his father was unwavering in making him work.

So Sunghoon had stepped up and sworn to his brother to take care of Winter while he was away.

The same noble brother was now slipping out of the bathroom with wet hair and crumpled clothing. He made his way downstairs to find his sister-in-law lying down on the couch. "All okay, Noona?"

"Mhm, but the TV isn't working," she whined, peeking at her dongseang with hopeful eyes. Sunghoon grunted and strode over to the screen as she cheerfully clapped.

"You guys have a big-ass chandelier but no decent plumbing and terrible cable connection, you need to fire your architect."

Winter snorted. "You speak as if we had a choice in the structure."

"Let me guess your dad chose the...

"bESt deSigNers" she finished for him.

Sunghoon sighed as the TV turned on. "What channel?", "Hmm, any new dramas?"

"I heard of this one called Business Proposal" , "Please, I already hear enough of that every day, you can just put on some sports."

He laughed and switched the channel, sitting opposite her. "All okay in baby town?" he asked fondly. Winter ran her hands over her bump, smiling to herself. "I feel terrible every morning and I look like a soggy potato, but it's okay otherwise."

"Well you always looked like a soggy potato- I will murder you Park Sunghoon." He laughed happily as Winter threw a pillow in his direction.

"Go get me something from the fridge if you care about your life."

Sunghoon whined and got up. Winter had become the older sister he never had over the last few months. It was surprising to him and Jay that the two had managed to grow so close. Sunghoon had a cold, stone-hard aura around him and he took a long time to open up.

Winter's kind and maternal nature seemed to have punctured through the walls faster than expected. He truly was grateful to her for coming into their lives, he felt like they had one more person who understood them.

"Sunghoon.."

The male frowned at the quiver in the woman's voice. He quickly went back to the living room.

The pillows were wet and the couch had a dark stain. Winter was breathing heavily and clutching her stomach.

Her water had broken.

"What? How is this happening, it's only been 7 months...." she questioned shakily. Sunghoon's heart was pounding heavily and his hands were trembling. He quickly snapped out of his trance. He had to get her to the hospital.

"Okay did you guys pack the bags for the hospital?" she nodded shakily. "They're beneath the bed, there are two of them."

"Okay I'll go get the bags, you get ready to go outside, is there anything else you need?" Sunghoon asked.
