"Sunshine, we're going to meet Uncle Hoonie today, okay? Are you ready?" Jay cooed to his little one as he fastened Sunoo into the car seat.

The poor baby was just learning to hold his head without any support, and now, he was expected to understand what his dada was saying.

Instead, using the amount of knowledge he had, he began to cry once the straps of his car seat were fastened. He didn't like it.

Jay sighed and immediately unbuckled the straps.

Winter appeared from the doorway of the house with their luggage and sighed at the wailing of her son. This was going to be one long car ride.

"I don't think he's comfortable. Try putting some pillows and blankets inside it," she said, coming up behind Jay.

He nodded and reached into the back for some cushioning while Winter heaved the luggage onto the trunk. "Everything is locked, right?" Jay asked, coming back to Sunoo.

"Yup, all the room doors are locked, I shut down the Wifi, and all our personal stuff is taken," Winter listed.,

Jay attempted to fasten Sunoo in again, but the baby was relentless in expressing his dislike of the current situation. The wailing began again.

"I think he just doesn't like it, Win, not sure there is much we can do," he sighed. "Aish, let me try comforting him. You lock the doors and call Sunghoon once."

Jay strode away from the car while Winter tried to coax their baby.

Once he had locked the doors and checked everything inside the house, he pulled out his phone to call Sunghoon.

"Hey, we're all set," he greeted once his brother picked up. "Great, you made sure you locked everything, right?"

"Yup, all done."

"Awesome, now just stick to the route I sent you, and you'll encounter no trouble. Wear your mask and cap for good measure and put one of those sunshade things on Sunoo's windows, yeah?" Sunghoon voiced.

"Yup, have done that, but what do we do if the cops stop us on suspicion though?" Jay asked.

"Don't worry, I've already notified local authorities about your situation. You'll just need to show them your IDs and maybe answer some questions, just to verify it's you."

"Okay then, I reckon everything is set. We come to your place, right?" Jay asked.

"Yup, I got a crib delivered over here, and I set it up last night, so Sunoo's sleeping situation is also covered. Don't worry dude, I'll be on the line if you need me, just get home safe okay?" Sunghoon alleviated.

Jay smiled at his brother's tone.

"Look at you, arranging things and being all big, but really, thank you so much, I could have never been able to raise Sunoo like this without you," he said softly.

Sunghoon sighed. "Of course, anything for the family, now get a move on," he added hastily, not wanting to get too touchy-feely.

Jay chuckled. "Okay, we will. See you soon." With that, he ended the call.

He walked back to the car to find Sunoo sucking on his thumb, fast asleep.

"Wah? How did you- multiple songs, a couple very tiring games and some cuddles, you took some time, you know?" Winter beamed tiredly. "God, he's such an energy ball," she groaned. Jay chuckled.
