It is a story long told as a lesson,
Of the emperor who was the power,
The empress who was cunning,
The fool who was a joker,
And the knight who was the chariot,
And the hope that people believed.
It was a twisted game they played,
A twisted fate intertwined their fates,
They killed, they played, they made mistakes,
And someone always paid the price.
So this story wasn't so much of details,
Just a couple facts to be noted,
People told the stories as if it was a past,
How beautifully ignorant, that it was happening in present.
