1. Wounded

Watching them struggle to save one of their own pulled at my heart. They were worried for him. He had hit his head in the crash and hadn't woken up. From my observations of the six of them , they were getting more worried for their companion. The smart one named Tech I found out his name from the others , seemed at a loss to what planet they were on. Endor was a vast jungle planet. They had crashed and had been trying to fix their ship. I sighed ,turning to go grab my medical supplies and tool kit from my home. Quickly returning to their campsite , I step from the shadows and watch as the sharpshooter raised a gun at me. They all turn to look at me I calmly place my medical supplies and tool kit down.
" My name is Zara. I noticed you had crashed and I wanted to lend my assistance. I'm a healer, I can help." I watch as the sniper scoff at my offer and moves to stand in front of me.
" We don't need any help." He says through gritted teeth.
I gross my arms and stare him down.
" you misunderstand me. If he doesn't get medical attention he will die. So stop being stubborn and bull headed and step aside." I grab my medical kit and move into the tent towards the down man. The others jaws drop when I don't back down from the snipers intimidation tactic.
Tech clears his throat and follows after me.
" Zara ? Thank you for your help. We've tried everything we know to do for our brother. But I fear if he doesn't awaken ... he will be lost ."
I nod my head at him.
" well I would like to at least know your names. Especially since I will be healing your brother." He nods his head and fiddles with his glasses.
" I'm Tech, that's Wrecker, Echo, Crosshairs, Omega, and this is Hunter." I freeze when I realize who they are. I slowly lean back and look at each of them.
" You're the Bad Batch." I bluntly say.
" You bet we are! The baddest batch!" Says Wrecker
I chuckle at that , then quickly turn back to Hunter when he groans in pain.
"ok all of you out. I need quiet if this is going to work. Tech stay behind and monitor our vital signs." I say
I place one of my hands on his forehead and another on his chest. Then I focus. I feel him and I see his life force strong and flickering in my mind. I also see a dark cloud surrounding it trying to snuff the light out. I move swiftly and surround him in my light.
" You shall not have him. He's work isn't done . begone!" I yell at the darkness it hisses at me and in a creeping voice it says
" Zara Stormchaser, this is the second time you have kept us from taking what is ours. There won't be a third time." It growls out. I face it head on.
" I am the protector of lives . I will always be there to fight against you. I wont let you have a life that isn't yours to take. Now BEGONE FROM HERE!" I push the force at it and it screams in pain and slowly disappears. I turn and look at Hunter . And move towards him
" It's time for you to join the land of the living Strong-one." I place my hand on his forehead and give him a slight push up."
I pull my hands away and slump in exhaustion.
" Zara are you alright?! You were in a meditative state for twelve hours!" I look at Echo , seeing worry on his face.
" He will recover. When he awakens don't move him for several days. He has a concussion and some bruised ribs. I recommend binding his ribs and there's some herbs in my bag that will help with pain. He has to eat them with food. In the mean time , I shall help you fix your ship."
I go to stand and nearly faint. Echo catches me and carefully lays me down.
" I take it from your condition that you fought whatever had a hold of Hunter." I slowly nod and tell him.
" A death wraith. It feeds on dying souls. But it made a grave mistake. Hunter wasn't dying he was in a type of healing coma." I look at Echo and smile.
" You remind me of a friend of mine that I had when I was a general in the clone wars. His name was Fives." His eyes widen at this revelation.
" Your a Jedi?"
I smile sadly at him .
" Yes, I suppose ."
" What are you doing on this planet?"
I place a hand on my stomach and he looks down to see my slightly swollen stomach.
" Making sure my child isn't killed because of my mistakes."
" What .... How?"
I smile sadly at him and say " I fell in love. Which is forbidden amongst the Jedi. We kept it secret. When I found out I was with child I told him. He told me to get rid of it. So I decided to leave the order to protect my child. That was before order 66 . His name was . Deke Martano. I received word not long after he had been killed. So I made my way here. To have my child here in secret. "
" How long have you been here? "
I chuckle at him .
" two months, I was only about a few weeks pregnant when I came here. I've made due."
I slowly stand up and make my way to my tool box.
" Would you mind keeping an eye on him? I'm going to help Tech try to figure out what's wrong with your ship."
He nods his head and goes to turn back to Hunter when I say "Echo?" He looks back at me " Please keep this to your self. " he nods and turns back to keep watch over Hunter.
Moving towards the others I hear them arguing .
" Crosshairs , what would you have us do? Hunter was dying. We needed help." Says Tech
" And she just happens to come to our aide at the right time?"
" Excuse me gentlemen? "
They jump and turn to face me.
" If you have questions then ask."
Crosshairs glares at me. While Tech nervously adjusts his glasses.
" Who are you?" Cross asks
" My name is Zara Stormchaser, Jedi healer and mechanic. "
Their eyes widen in shock.
" You're one of the greatest Jedi healers in history. " exclaims Tech
I smile at that.
" Well I wouldn't say that but yes." I shrug.
" Your technique on healing with the force is phenomenal!" Tech exclaims.
I look at Crosshairs to see him wince in pain. I study him and he's favoring his left arm.
" Crosshairs? Did you hurt yourself in the crash?" I ask gently
Tech is still rambling about my accomplishments to notice me ask the question. He stiffens and I can tell he is hurting . He nods his head so subtly that if I'd have blinked I would have missed it.
" Tech would you mind going with Wrecker and Omega to find some food? There's a gully with some berry bushes and a stream nearby full of fish. Only get the red or blue berries. Avoid the yellow or green ones those are bitter and cause hallucinations . Oh and the fish are safe as long as we fry them first."
He looks at me in shock then stands and makes his way out of the tent.
" ok crosshairs let's have a look at that arm. "

Authors note!

Hi everybody! Please don't shoot me for starting another story! My muse hit me in the head and I had to write this story! I love the Bad Batch! I had started watching the show and fell in love with them. I like them all but Hunter he is so fine. Updates will be once or twice a week depending on if my muse will cooperate! *glares at muse*
Muse leans back and laughs evilly. I roll my eyes at it. Ok thanks you guys. Don't forget to leave comments and vote please! Don't worry Hunter will appear in the next chapter or the next two. And yes Zara is preqnant. Thought it be a story that hasn't been done yet.

He was a jedi who was killed due to Order 66. He asked Zara to get rid of the baby she refused and left the order. He was kind of a jerk. He basically led Zara on and never really loved her. Kind of sad. She was friends with Obi-Wan and was Master PLO's Palawan at one time. Now in my story Master PLO will make another appearance. As well as master Yoda, and master Obi-Wan. So ya'll bear with me.
