They Both look at me for a long moment then turn to look at each other.
After a silent conversation between the both of them, Cross steps forward and asks " What do you mean by decisions?"
I gulp as he progressively moves across the mess hall to me. I take a step back for every step forward he takes.
" I just thought with everything that had happened ..... that you two would want time to decide if ........"
I stop talking as my back hits the wall , letting out a gasp as I look up at him. He places a hand on either side of me , caging me in.
Warm brown eyes staring down at me make my breath quicken.
He leans closer so we are nearly nose to nose.
"You are not getting out of this that easily my sweet. You , Hunter and I share a bond. One that I've come to rely on. I want to feel the comfort you offer and the strength from Hunter. Before I was an angry miserable person, trying to understand my place in the galaxy. But when I caught our children on the day they were born, I fell in love with you ZARA. You and your heart of gold, your kindness, and love you give freely to us . So no there is no decision to be made because..."
Hunter continues where Cross left off
" the decision was made when that chieftain married us. We love you ZARA. Come Hell or high water your stuck with us until the last star in the universe burns out."
Hunter steps beside me and gently grasps my chin.
" Now, why don't you go rest and we'll talk more in the morning."
I don't move away from him. But cup his face and kiss him. I open the bond and show them everything I'm feeling.
Cross groans as he begins to kiss up and down my neck. I moan into Hunters mouth. But they both pull away when I tense when Hunter rubs against my bruised ribs.
Hunter has pulled back and picks me up into his arms. He carries me back to my room. Cross following close behind.
They make sure I'm lying in bed comfortable changing the twins and grabbing a bottle to feed them. I notice that while I was gone they had bought another rocking chair , which makes perfect sense.
Watching them feed , our children I smile and fall asleep . Safe happy and whole.
Sorry for the short chapter but it was just a filler to move the muse along.
