I make my way through the market district on Ord Mantell. Passing many vendors pawning their items. Some trying to yell louder then the others. I stop at a stall that I have visited many times in the past.

Korlaa Haavris and I met when I was still a Padwann. I lean against the counter and smile at her.
" I need some....information". I trace a design in the dust on the counter and I see her glance down then smile.

" Sorry Zara, don't have that kind of information." I shrug then pull out message and carefully slid it to her.
" I need you to try to get this to PLO Koon. It's important. He can reach me at this com sequence." She takes the message and places it down her bra. I chuckle.
She smiles at me then asks " So who's the two brooding men standing five stalls down? They've been following you. "
I look back over my shoulder to see Cross and Hunter browsing a stall of fruit. I roll my eyes and turn back to her.
" They would be my husbands . But they don't want to be." She tugs me behind her stall and into her home " Ok girlfriend spill." I chuckle at her and begin to tell her.
************************** " So ... you didn't know that the Chief was marrying you until afterwards?" I run a hand through my hair and sigh.
" I thought I had heard wrong. I mean, you should have seen them when I told them. They just looked at each other and walked out. Didn't say a word to me!! Then I decided to go to the training room to train . I had just stepped outside the mess hall and I heard them say that I was just some kind of obligation . And that they didn't want a ready made family. I mean come on Korlaa! What kind of man admits that out loud. Now I understand that it's unexpected but they honestly think that I trapped them!!!" Tears are running down my face.
" I never wanted to be vulnerable again. Not after what Deke did to me." I squeeze my eyes shut to block out the memories. I open my eyes when I feel her place a hand on my arm.
" Oh Honey, they are utter fools. They don't know what a rare gift you are. You and your little ones." I sigh and wipe the tears away. Korlaa pulls me into a hug.
" What am I gonna do?" I ask in a timid voice. She pulls back and places her hands on my shoulders. " Don't worry Doll, I've got the perfect thing. How about you and I go out tonight? Just like we use to." I chuckle at her suggestion.
" I don't think ...." I begin "this is non-negotiable. You need a night of fun and relaxation. Oh and I've got the perfect dress for you!"
" But....." she disappears into a back room . I look around her home and smile at all the little Knick knacks she has a round here. " Ah-ha!!! I knew I had it done where!!" When she comes back in it's to show me this .... Beautiful dress.
"Now before you say no . This is a good opportunity for you to see how your men react." She has a good point. Before I can answer my comm goes off. " yeah?" " Where are you?!" Demands Cross. " Excuse me?" " You haven't come out of the shop yet. So where are you?" Asks Hunter " I'm looking over fabric with a friend of mine. If you must know..." " You need to get back to the ship. You shouldn't have left Cass and Rory." I look up at Korlaa and grit my teeth. " How dare you! I am not your obligation!!! I am a grown woman and I don't need two thick headed Wookiee's telling me what I need to do! I'll be back at the ship later. In fact I'll stay out all night!!!!" I cut the com the quickly comm Echo. " hey Zara, you alright?" "No, not really . Listen do you think you and Omega could watch the twins for a few more hours . I ran into an old friend and they insist that we go get some drinks. I'll be back before the twins need to be put to sleep."
Silence . Then.... " Sure , no problem. Just try not to be to hard on them." " On who?"
" Cross and Hunter. They care about you. "
" Echo , don't stick up for them . Listen I've got to go. I'll be back in a few hours."
"Ok have fun. Oh and Zara?"
" yeah.."
" Give them trouble." I smile as I end the com and turn to Korlaa.
