15.Enemies

Several days pass and I know that Hunter and Cross would've found my message by now. I know they must be worried. But I seriously doubt they miss me. I decide to go into a meditative state.
Looking around I see Obi-Wan, Master Yoda, and Master Plo. I bow to them.
" Zara Stormchaser, much trouble are you in."
I nod my head at Master Yoda.
" We cannot be of help to you Zara." Says Obi-wan.
" I understand."
" The dark side cannot win. My friend. no matter what you go through you must stay strong. For I fear that if you give in, your fate will be undoubtably altered." Comments Master Plo.
" I won't give in. I can't. I.... Have people that are counting on me." I look at Master Yoda. I watch as he strokes his chin.
" Little ones you have?"
I smile and bring up a picture of Cassian and Aurora.
" They are precious Zara." Says Master Plo.
"Secrets kept, you have Zara."
I look away from Master Yoda.
" I was played for a fool Master. I won't apologize because I've been given the greatest gift. But I will hold firm. For I have many reasons to."
Obi-wan strokes his beard.
" Zara where exactly are your children." I smirk at him and cross my arms
" Their at the safest place that they can be at. Let's just say I have a small army watching them."
They all look at each other then Yoda Chuckles
" The Bad Batch , they are with." He says
I shrug
" More there is to the story." He states
"I kind of got married......accidentally."
Master Plo blinks and then chuckles. Obi-wan laughs and Master Yoda chuckles.
" One doesn't get married on accident Zara. The force knew you would need protectors and it sent you your husbands."
Says Master Plo.
I blush at his assessment.
" Husbands?" Asks Obi-wan. I shrug and wave a dismissive hand at him.
" Don't ask. It's a long story." I feel my body shake.
And I look around . Before I disappear I look at Master Plo.
" Master please if your near Ord Mantell, go and explain to Hunter and Cross what's happened. Protect Cassian and Aurora. Train them. Please.... They...."
I'm pulled from meditation and look to see black boots at my cell door. I look up to see black eyes watching me from a yellowed face.
" Hello Zara."
" Darth Obsidian."
He smiles evilly at me. I don't break his stare. I can't afford to.
" Your mind is clouded with worry. I sense anger in you." I shrug and stand , I hold my arms out in front of me.
" Let's get this over with." He pulls out compressions cuffs , releases the bars to my cell. He steps towards me and places the cuffs on my wrists.
" It's good to see you Zara. Even under these circumstances."
I sneer at him.
" Enough chit chat Darth. Let's go meet your Master."
He chuckles and pushes me out of the cell. We pass Cad Bane and I nod at him. He nods back.
What Darth Obsidian doesn't realize is that . I paid off Cad Bane. For the rest of his life. He won't take another Bounty. Because he now works for me. I've given him one rotation (2days) to get me out of here. ( if I'm not dead.) Storm troopers surround us. Leading me towards Darth Sideous.  " Once you turn dear Zara. I shall hunt down our children and train them in the dark side of the force."
" It won't happen Obsidian." I grit out.
" Why's that pray tell."
" Because my children have good men in their lives. That if I don't return they had instructions to take care of children and to run as far as they could. You will never see them." I smile at
Him. I see his face flush with anger.
" You little...."
" Darth Obsidian.... Enough."
I turn to look and see a dark figure clothed in a black robe. The hood is up. He is sitting in a chair and his yellow eyes are glowing from beneath his hood.
" Ahhhh...... Zaralina Stormchaser. You have given my apprentice quite the trouble tracking you down."  I refuse to meet his eyes.
" You are very strong willed but no matter you will turn."
I finally make eye contact with him and utter three words.
" No. I. Won't."
He chuckles and sits back in his chair.
" Very obstinate. It will be that much sweeter when I break you."
" Try your best Darth Hideous."
" you will learn , and pain shall be your teacher!"  He yells. Lightning emits from his hands. My life flashes before my eyes. In that moment in time , I appear before Hunter and Cross.
They look shocked.
" I love you both."
" Zara? How?" Asks Hunter
I smile then disappear.
Utter agony consumes me. I scream , until I'm hoarse. Minutes, hours, days. I don't know any sense of time. It all blurs. Several times I see Darth Hideous standing over me. Chuckling at my pain. Whispering
" Give in Zara."
Give in Zara."
Give in Zara."
The pain will stop if you join us."
Over and Over the whispers repeat. Until I think I've gone mad.
But In that moment of madness, I see the faces of my loved ones.
Cross, Hunter, Cassian, Aurora. Obi-wan, Plo, Master Yoda. Echo, Omega, Wrecker, Tech. These people are the reason I haven't given in.
" I'll never join you!" I yell at him.
I hear him chuckle.
" That wasn't as strong as the other denials you've given. In the last day and a half."
A day and a half had passed? If I could hold out till the end of the day then Cad will break me out.
I spit blood from my mouth and smile at him.
" Give it your best shot."
I black out before he can start again.
