The field trip...

Chapter 2

After the long and tiring trip, Luna and Molly had finally made it to the fun fair. Luna gazed out the window, admired by the tall building of the fun fair.
"Dude! Look how tall it is!" Luna said, scanning up and down the building.
"Whoa! That's such a big building!! This is going to be so much fun!" Molly squealed.
"I love fun fairs!" Said Eric, the boy on the bus.
"Alright little ones! Hop off the bus please!! Hehehe!" Giggled the bus driver. Luna thought it was a bit odd of his giggling, but it shouldn't mean anything. Molly took Luna's hand, and they walked together off the bus, the bus driver, watching and smiling creepily, which gave Luna a chill up her spine. They skipped down the tiny steps, step by step. Eric followed behind the girls slowly, looking out of the bus door, to see how the building looked. In front of them, was a tour guide. He looked really strange. His skin tone was yellow, and he wore a black hoodie, and had the hood up over his head. He had a strange raspy voice that almost sounded robotic, as he began to talk.
"Welcome to the fun fair. I am Shawn, your tour guide for today. This fun fair is a cool place. There will be some doors in the fun fair saying keep out, for personal reasons..." He creepily giggled. "So please keep away... Anyways...have a fun time, and after you are introduced to Billy the Rabbit, the parks mascot, you will be taken to the cafeteria, to get some food. Alright, follow me...hehe." He giggled again. Molly gave Luna a funny stare, and imitated his voice, as he turned his back to the kids. Luna burst out with laughter, as Eric shushed her, before Shawn would hear.

They quickly followed Shawn, up the marble stairs, and through the massive door that was placed in front of them. It was lined with a pretty metallic gold, while the rest of it was a pastel white. As we entered the building. Shawn stopped and turned to the kids, and started to talk with his creepy robotic voice.
"Welcome inside". He said. "To the left there, is a toy- I mean, staff only room. For the staff. Please, do not enter. No matter what. If you do...there will be consequences...". He giggled under his breath, his face growing dark. Luna could feel the panic rising up inside her as she thought this was odd and scary, while Molly was the opposite, and thought it was hilarious.

As Shawn kept talking, Luna whispered over to Molly.
"Molly, I am getting bad vibes about this place." She said. She looked around the room and saw a little yellow person staring at her from behind a door. The darkness behind it, made it's bright red eyes more clear. It gave Luna a shock, so she quickly looked away, and turned back, to see that it had vanished. Molly then noticed the little yellow guy, but at a different door, staring at her. This was when they realized, they needed to get out of this creepy park. They looked at each other and knew what they needed to do. They looked around for Eric, while Shawn kept talking. They couldn't spot him anywhere.
"Luna, where did Eric go?" Molly said, with panic in her voice, making a stutter. 
"I don't know, maybe he has already gone." Luna replied. 
"You're right. In 3, we run for the door, and run as far away from here as we can, alright?" Molly instructed. Luna nodded. Molly held up the number 3 with her hands, and mimed her saying it, counting down with her fingers. They finally got to run, and bolted to the door, when they noticed that it was locked with heavy chains. 

"Where do you think you're going?" Said a creepy voice behind the girls. They turned around slowly, to see Shawn standing there with Billy the Rabbit. A creepy smile grew on his face, as he showed his rotten teeth. 
"Uhm, we were trying to get some fresh air...it's quite musty in here..." Said Luna, trying to think of an excuse. 
"Oh, sorry about that. Well, how about you watch this safety video, so you know what to do, while having fun in the park." Shawn explained. The girls nodded. A massive screen came down from the roof, and was stopped in front of them, as Billy the Rabbits safety video started to play. There was a familiar boy, who was used for the video. The boy fell into a deep pit, and was stabbed by a sharp spike at the bottom. The next scene was the same boy, but he went into a dark room, saying keep out on the front, and he let out a high pitch scream, as whatever was in there, got him. 
"Huh, that looks like Eric." Molly said. Then, they realized. They turned to each other, and their eyes bulged, tears filling their eyes. They knew what was ahead of them. Why did we come here... they thought in their minds.
