The trio had gone back to Mondstadt to sleep away the night, with the next morning being clear and cloudless.
Y/n had met with Paimon and Aether jn the square, and the two- Oh and Paimon- were walking around.
"Have you ever been to the bar around here?" Aether asked, pointing to the Angel's Share, "They sell some good juice."
"Going to a bar for juice-?"
"I'm underage," Aether explained, "Besides, I don't really like the smell of alcohol."
"I have some mora to get us juice, if that's what you're asking for," Y/n reached for the small bag on their hip.
Paimon stopped them, "Actually, we're friends with the bartender! Paimon thinks we should be able to persuade him to give us drinks, right?"
"Not guaranteed that they'll be large enough for the trip, but it'll be something before we leave."
Aether opened the door, allowing Y/n and Paimon to enter before him.
The bar was clean and shining- with the only other people then the trio being Kaeya, a drunk bard in the corner and a red-haired man at the counter messing with cups.
"Ah, Traveller, welcome," The bartender greeted, "And...small kid- you do know I have exceptions, right?"
"Ahhh, Traveller!" Kaeya reeked of alcohol, but it didn't burn Y/n's nose like how they remembered alcohol smelling. In fact, it held more of a sweet grape smell. "Nice to see you've been bonding with little lightning! How are things?"
"We're just dropping by before we head to Liyue!" Paimon held a casual smile, "Can we get some juice?"
"Oh- sure," The bartender leaned under the counter, "It will cost you."
"Ahhh, just put it on my tab," Kaeya waved his hand, "So dramatic, Diluc."
Diluc- that seemed to be the name of the red-head. Unlike Kaeya, his hair was tied up high, and ran longer.
"You can take a seat wherever," Diluc motioned to the empty bar, "Just try not to wake up that bard."
The bard he pointed to seemed as free as a bird- wine bottles surrounding his half-asleep form and a strange smell of wine in the air.
Y/n grabbed onto Aether's hand, and was promptly dragged into a seat. They were getting tall enough to not have the jump, which was a point in their book.
The bard from earlier slumped up, "Heyyyy Traveler! Who's dat with you?"
"Just Y/n," Aether stood up, walking over to Venti, "You should go home. You're drunk."
Venti seemed to ignore what Aether said, "Ahhhhh! Y/n! I remember- hic- member that Raiden telling me about em."
"You....you know me?" Y/n tilted their head.
"Yeaaahhhhhh!" Venti smiled, raising his drink with a clink, "The weird little- hic- fireworks that she ordered. I member that uhhh...fox girl asking me to make a poem."
Yae.
Auntie Miko- the one person who was with them since the beginning."Aether, I think we should go," Y/n stood up, pushing their chair back in.
"I was thinking the same." Aether stepped back from Venti, "Let's hit the road."
"Wuh- but Paimon didn't get her drink!" Paimon tried to whine, only to be dragged like a balloon in the wind.
