Master Jean had been more than willing to listen to Y/n's reasons to not want to go home.

Thus, Y/n was allowed an extended stay within the Headquarters. They were given a small room that had a window and a bunch of paper to keep themself occupied.

Paper birds littered the floor, and Y/n color-coded them.

A pink paper bird stood out from the rest, and the little lotus marks on it stood out.

While the other birds were given to those who were willing, such as Noelle and Jean, one stayed behind.

The lone lotus bird, and Y/n knew exactly why.

The one to take such bird wasn't here. He was still in Inazuma- still trapped under their mother's rule.

Y/n put the tiny bird carefully into their bag, making sure it was carefully plucked inside of a fancy box they managed to snatch.

They wanted to stay in Mondstadt, but at the same time, they wanted to save their friends in Inazuma.

But to do that...

"Oh? You want to become stronger?" The purple-dressed librarian had a smile on her lips, "I can teach you how to use your little calalyst~."

"Please," Y/n held their book in their hands, "I wanna save my friends."

"Such a sweet little idea!" Lisa laughed, before putting her hands on her hips, "I'll help you then."

"Really-? Wait, is there a cost-?"

Lisa laughed, waving it off with a flick of her wrist, "I just need you to come with me to fetch some books sometime. I need a bit of persuasion~."

"Come meet me outside in a few minutes, and we'll discuss how I can train you. Who knows? I might even be able to get another helping hand," Lisa gave Y/n a smile, before walking down the stairs into the library, possibly to get a catalyst.

Y/n didn't have much of a choice but to go wait outside.

It didn't take long for Lisa to appear, with an orb in her hands.

"Oh sweet child, who told you of the wolves?" Lisa put her hands on her hips.

Lisa made a quick 'hmph' sound, taking her hands off her hips, "I will chat with him when we return. For now, just follow me, and stay close. I don't want to lose a tiny little thing like you~."

If they hadn't been taught about the other nations geography- "Just in case a ship gets wrongfully over turned."- they wouldn't know about where they were.
