"You're up for Queen, you can't make your own prom dress. Prom is like our Oscars. It's seriously, like, the most important night of our lives."

"What about getting married?" Lauren asked.

"Oh, you can get married as many times as you want. You only have one shot at your Junior Prom." Liz snickered at Quinn's comment while she sat besides Sam and have him a peck on the cheek.

"What are you guys talking about?" Mercedes asked waking over.

"Prom dresses." Lauren answered.

"Thank God I don't have to worry about that. I'm not going." Mercedes said.

"Why not?" Kurt asked.

"'Cause nobody's asked me." Mercedes answered.

"Shane didn't ask you?" Liz asked with a confused face as Mercedes sadly shook her head.

After writing 'Prom' on the whiteboard, Mr. Schue turned around. "Alright, guys... Prom."

"Please tell me we're not doing songs about prom." Sam said, felling guilty he couldn't take Liz with him.

"Nope, we are the prom. Figgins has asked us to perform."

"Let's do 'Run Joey Run'." Rachel proposed but was ignored by everyone.

"Now, I know this isn't ideal with Nationals coming up, but we really don't have a choice. And, we could really use the money. But I know that prom is a special rite of passage. I want to make sure that all of you guys get a chance to enjoy the dance, too. So we're gonna stag at the performances so that each and every one of you has a lot of time to dance with your dates." Mr. Schuester said.

"Excuse me." Mercedes said before leaving the choir room.

"Is she okay?"

"Mercedes doesn't have a date for prom." Quinn explained.

"So? I don't have a date. I'm just going to dance. And then all of your dates are gonna ignore you and come dance with me, so...your dates are really my dates." Brittany said.

"I'm gonna go talk to Mercedes." Kurt said but got stopped by Rachel.

"No, let me."

"You're taking Cedes and Berry on a three-way date for prom?"

"Yeah, but not the dirty kind." Theo answered as he walked with Liz thought the hallway. "By the way, are you going or is it a touchy subject?"

"I don't know." Liz shrugged. "I would have loved to go with Sam and I already told him I could take him or we could stay at my house but he doesn't want me to miss prom."

"Well, if you don't have anyone by tomorrow, you're coming with me and the girls."

Theo's last comment made Quinn widen her eyes, close her locker and quickly walk towards Sam.

"Here." She gave him an envelope with money. "I know you declined Liz's offer. That's why I'm lending you this money, whether you give it back to me tomorrow, in 5 years or 10, I don't care but my girl's going to prom."

"Are you sure?" Sam asked looking at the money.

Quin nodded. "Besides the fact that I need her there, there's no way she's going in some weird four-way date with Berry."

Walking to the field since Coach Sylvester told her they would have an extra practice that day, Liz hadn't expected to see Sam standing there with his guitar.
