chapter 2: leaving a toy

in 1959 march 27, around clock 8:35 pm at night.

when liam was 17,he will be 18 soon he will be leaving this orphanage. also liam was sitting in the desk writting his leather journal and his toy cotton was sitting in his bed.

"Dear diary.."

" i have to leaving in this orphanage,it's been 18 years since i was born. it's bee hard life beeing living here for long,i also been bullied by jake and his friends but nobody wants me..since when i got a new toy friend from donation box i named her cotton,so second i met penelope,she was a nice person and a friend, but then..she got a new parents they won't let me so they adopt her and took her a new home. i was upset and alone. but luckly Leather miss emilia was a good caretaker not unlike those caretakers,miss emilia was good take care of me and even support me. she was a good person... since i'm done with writting i will turned 18 soon in about 2 days.."

"sincely liam"

when liam close the journal and and lays down on the bed and looks at cotton and smile little bit. and he pulls his blankets covered.

liam: well cotton..two days is going to be my birthday soon,soon we will leave this place i will get a job at playtime.co somedays. then he fall a sleep.

in 1959 march 29, around clock 7:15 pm

it was liam's 18th birthday,he blow out of the candles and everyone was clapping loudly and they all sit down at the table.

1# random caretaker: okay kids grab your plates and spoons or forks you need.

the kids grabs plates,forks,and spoon and they went back to the table and start to eating the cake.after they finish their food,liam grabs all the plates,forks,spoon to washing dishies to help the others and miss emilia come here to see liam..

miss emilia: my..my..my liam you're growing up so big. she said smile

liam: yeah, it's been long time to living here for hard,but i'm final happy to taking good care of me. he said

miss emilia: that's so sweet liam..but i'm want tell yo- but then someone came here to intrupted.

1# orphanage lady: i'm sorry to bother with you two,but miss emilia can you leave in here. i need talk to liam will quick,it won't be long. she said

miss emilia: oh.. okay i'll leave you two alone. when miss emilia was leaving in the kitchen.

1# orphanage lady:...now liam,since you're 18 now and become adult,you will leave this place in tomorrow in the morning, you gotta pack your things. do you got that?. she said to him

liam: yes ma'am..i'll leave tomorrow.

1# orphanage lady: good,now finish the dishies will quick now. but remember tomorrow. then she leaving in the kitchen. then liam starting to wash the dishies..

after he finish the dishies, he lays back down and goes to bed and fall a sleep.

in 1959 march 30, around clock 8:35 am in the morning

liam was already packing things,alot of clothes,and his journal. then miss emilia was came here to his room and see liam packing.

miss emilia: liam,are you finish? she said to him

liam: yes i"m already now,now since i'm already pack my clothes,my journal and take cotton with me and that's all.. but miss emilia was walk to him and even said..

miss emilia: oh..liam..i don't think you can't take your toy with you. but liam was very confused..

liam: but-but why? he said to her.

miss emilia: i know you love her but..you're too old to take care of her,i know she's a stuffed animal but you need to leave it here.

liam: why?. all the kids bring the toys with them?..

miss emilia: well sometimes when the youngest bring the toys with them, but not the adult to bring them with them,but have you ever thought you never play with her when you teenage?..

when liam was thought thinking when he hasen't to play with her when back he was a teenage. he was cleaing the floors and dishies,and even doing his work paper for all haven't to play with her, he was too busy..

liam: well maybe sometimes i haven't playing with her for long time..

miss emilia: well then i guess you have to leave your toy in here for now..i'll be waiting at the door..don't be too long. when miss emilia was leave at his room..

when liam was look at cotton serious sad..liam was kinda right miss emilia,he has to leave his toy in there his old bedroom..

liam:..i'm sorry cotton..i don't think..we can't be together..,i have to leaving without you..so..i'm so sorry cotton.. this is goodbye for now..i hope someone will take care of you for now on.

when liam grab his suitcase and leave his old and look at cotton and he sadly for leaving her behind..

liam: POV (" goodbye cotton") then liam was shut his light off and close his door..leaving cotton behind in the bedroom...

then liam was come down the stairs and see miss emilia was here..and look at her.

miss emilia: well liam before you go,i got some money for you,the caretakers got money for you for their busy in this place. but you going have a new house and even getting a job for yourself. she said to him.

liam: well that's nice of them..but sure i'll do it for my own good.. when liam gets the money of miss emilia and he smile at her..

liam: maybe i'll get license somedays..

miss emilia: but that's great,but what are you gonna have a your last name since you don't have one? what do you wanna to choose?

she said to him, but liam was thinking about his last name but he doesn't have a family names..

liam: hmmm...i don't know miss emilia..

when miss emilia has a little bit idea for him give him a random last name..

miss emilia: liam..how about brooks..is that oaky? she said to him

liam: well that's great idea of the last name. he said

before he leave,he was begin to hugging with miss emilia and smiling at her and let go of hugging.

liam: well miss emilia thanks for taking good care of me,it's been long years since you good take care of me...well this is a goodbye miss emilia i hope somedays will see each other for remembers for now...goodbye miss emilia he said to her smile.

miss emilia: goodbye liam...i hope you're getting a new life..

soon liam was waving goodbye to the oprhanages and leaving the orphanage behind,and leaving cotton behind was not worry about her...

meanwhile at his bedroom:

when cotton was laying still in the bed....the black tears was coming from her button eyes and begin to speak..

cotton: "oh liam..why did you leaving me behind,..you abandoned me!."
