Violet

I woke up to the same dream again that morning. That crooked nosed woman had it coming from me. I was definitely going to hand her whole nose to her. I swear, she was so irritating and so annoying, I wanted to break the chains that held me and wrap them around her neck.

But in that dream, I felt a little more power in me than the last time. There was something within me pushing me to fight her. To rip her nose apart along with her throat. This power I felt only grew a fraction, maybe, than the last dream. But it gave me some kind of hope.

I woke up and thought about informing Indigo. But I decided to check it again tonight. I didn’t want Indigo to freak out unnecessarily. I felt the same energy though, everytime I woke up from that dream. If it happened again, I was definitely telling Indigo.

I got ready and started with my training with Klaus and Jane. Indigo left with us and went to meet Laura. I was doing sit-ups after finishing twelve rounds running around. This time it included jumping over small stones, the same way Jane did them. She told me my instincts and reflexes would make me do things the right way.

After around twenty minutes Klaus told me Indigo wanted to meet us at the pack house. So when I asked what a pack house was Klaus told me that it was like an office where meetings were held. Or where guests would wait to talk with the officials. It also had the alpha’s and beta’s office along with storage rooms, etcetera. Basically it was the main house of the pack.

Jane and I decided to do a frog-jump race. So we started, laughing all the way while Klaus kept up with us. Jane knew to have fun in her own way and I loved it. I loved her already. When we were only a distance away from the pack house Jane stood up still laughing. I stood up after her and followed them.

It was the same house we had stopped in front of when I first came here. I saw Indigo, Laura and her parents waiting for us. I quickly greeted them and Laura’s mom even kissed my forehead.

I never felt so loved and wanted before. I mean with the life I had lived all these years, I hadn’t been exposed to so much love and fondness and pampering. I knew I was old enough to not be pampered but I wanted them to. I wanted to feel everything I hadn’t felt in years. The bond made me feel their emotions and their love towards me directly. I didn’t want to push them away either. I wanted them to treat me the way they wanted because they were after all my family now.

My family.

Indigo wasn’t exactly clear when he told me we would go inside and then I was to tell him what I felt. But then Laura’s dad cleared it for me saying, “That is my son in there. Now listen, I know your brother won’t tell you this but he is your potential mate. But, not your fate mate. Fate mate is like your brother and Laura or me and Ana.’’ I nodded my head as my heart started drumming faster. “We just want to check how your wolf reacts to a potential mate. Okay.”

If Laura’s brother was here all this time why didn’t he come have dinner with us yesterday? Was I not told about him because he was my potential mate?

Oh no! Poor guy was left alone all this time.

There was so much more than I thought here. Potential mates and fate mates. They were different but how do they know who was who? 

I thought about asking them later so I just nodded at him and looked at Indigo. He quickly pulled me to him and said, “There is nothing to worry about. Even I found two potential mates but I waited for my true one. Alpha Logan has also been waiting for his true mate so-” Indigo said but I cut him because I was totally fine.
