CHAPTER 30

Violet

I walked inside the packhouse humming a song. Hearing voices, I went in and saw Klaus with a beautiful looking woman beside him. His arm was draped around her waist in a protective way, his smile never leaving his face.

I had already walked in front of them but they didn’t see me.

They couldn’t see me. Must be another dream.

That meant the woman next to Klaus was his mate. Oh my god! This was Lily! 

“Eli is throwing a fit. He wants that remote car he saw on TV the other day.”  Lily glared at Klaus.

“He has totally taken after you,” Klaus said with a chuckle as she rolled her eyes.

The invisible me, moved to stand away from them, a smile plastered on my face at the beautiful couple. The way Klaus held her, looked at her, gave away that he loved her immensely. He was whipped.

“You are going to spoil those kids, Klaus.” She groaned but he kissed her cheek anyway.

“As much as I’ve spoiled you.” He said, making her smack his chest as she tried to control her blush. Klaus pulled her close, laughing wholeheartedly.

I kept looking at them as a lone tear made it down my eyes. Klaus looked younger, a lot happier and cheerful. They looked so perfect next to eachother. I couldn’t help but feel bad for Klaus. I wished Lily was still here with us.

I wiped the tears that brimmed my eyes and heard voices coming from the outside. It was mom and dad. I moved from my place to look at them entering with dad holding mom who looked very pregnant.

Wow.

I kept looking at her with my mouth open as dad led her in. Klaus and Lily greeted them, “Does she still keep moving too much?” Lily asked.

Mom shook her head, “Goddess, if I could do anything. She’s only so good with Indigo.” She chuckled at the end.

She was pregnant with me. I was in there.
And why the hell was I moving so much?

Stupid Violet!

I walked towards her and tried to touch her but I couldn’t as my hand slipped through her.

“Luciano is happy, having the time of his life!” Klaus laughed and dad gave him an annoyed look.

“Let’s go to my office.” He said and they went upstairs to the second floor. I followed behind them, thinking how I bothered my mom and dad even in the womb. They took their seats while I stood at the door.

“What is it, Luciano? You don’t seem like usual.” Klaus said as he leaned forward on the desk. Lily and mom exchanged worried looks.

“I want to tell you something about the baby,” Dad said, looking at both of them.

“Is everything okay? You’re worrying me.” Klaus said, turning to look at mom and then at her belly.

“I need you to promise me something. An oath from the both of you.” Dad asked them.

“You have it, Alpha,” Klaus said, without any hesitation.

“I promise you both Alpha and Luna. There is nothing less I’d do when it involves family.” Lily said with a small smile.

“Both of us…had the same dream four months back. We felt someone talking to us…a presence to be precise.” Dad told them.

“What? Who?” Klaus asked. Lily put a hand on her mouth with questioning eyes.
