Although I have already addressed this concern on Yuna before, I felt the need of putting it here again.

In the time of writing this chapter, Yuna (the portrayer) is 18 years old internationally. She is turning 19 years old on the 9th day of December, 2022. In South Korea, she is 20 years old. This is based from what I have read about the Korean age system online. She can be considered to be a young adult in both age systems, but I will still keep the scene not to be that explicit.

* TO CLARIFY: The characters' ages are set around mid-20s to late 20s. You can assume that if you read the previous chapters, Alexa is working as a part-time teacher and as a marriage counselor. She has a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. While, Maurice was working for their family company. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.

If you still feel uncomfortable with the thought, I am highly encouraging you to skip that part of the story. I put a warning when that scene is about to take place.

3rd Person's POV (Narrator)

Alexa was looking at Maurice with eyes which were glistening in tears. These were tears of joy. She was overwhelmed with the fact that the latter was standing her ground for her... for them. However, it seemed that Maurice did not get the real meaning with the tears which were building up in Alexa's eyes. Maurice broke eye contact, glancing downwards as she could feel her body stiffening. Knowing Maurice's body language, Alexa immediately recognized the uneasiness that the former has been feeling.

Why was Alexa tearing up... is she terrified upon hearing all of these from me? What if it was already too late? What if Justine and Alexa actually found their way back to love? 

These thoughts were running across Maurice's mind until she felt a familiar stroke on her cheek then a familiar pair of lips brushing against hers. She redirected her gaze upwards and found Alexa with her eyes closed while kissing her passionately. Maurice closed her eyes and responded to the latter's kisses, reciprocating the intensity that she was giving to her. Surprisingly, the reaction from the guests was actually positive. They were even cheering for the pair.

Soon, she felt Alexa's hand moving down and gripping onto the collar of her tuxedo jacket. The taller woman tugged onto the said clothing piece, causing the other's body to be pressed against hers. 

Their kiss lasted for about half a minute until Alexa pulled away. Then, Alexa leaned her forehead against Maurice's, sliding her hands along the shorter woman's sides then settling them on her waist. Their eyes remained closed for a moment. Alexa was the first one to open her eyes, but it did not take that long for Maurice to open hers as well. 

Maurice saw how Alexa was looking at her and it made her heart thump crazily. Alexa was looking at her lovingly. 

"Does that answer your question..." Alexa paused as she moved the condenser mic towards the direction of Maurice's lips without putting her gaze off the latter's eyes.
