Ava's revenge

Entering the gym, determination drove my mind. My wolf our private sparring with Liam more than I did. He is strong and skilled; however, his build leaves limitation in movement, a fact he and Grayson share.

“Are you ready, Kitten?” Liam enjoys dancing on my last nerve. I have started to like the nicknames he gives me, but I will never admit that to him. His ego is big enough as it is.

“Sure, why don’t you come over and try to pet the kitten? See how far you get.” I pretend to examine my nail, ignoring his playful banter. Liam invades my personal space. His lips hover so close I can feel his breath on my neck, sending an involuntary shiver down my spine. Damn it, he won this round.

“Sassy thing today, be careful speaking to an alpha. That way, you may end up being punished.” Liam’s firm hand connected with my butt cheeks, the slap so loud it echoed off the walls. I was not about to let that slide. I dropped to one knee, placing my shoulder in Liam’s gut while grabbing his arm. Using his own body weight to flip him flat on his back. It was my turn to taunt him. It was no secret, Liam is attracted to me; he practically follows me around like a lost puppy. Declaring me his, I felt the bonding the first day we met, but would never give him the satisfaction of knowing that. I enjoy playing hard to get, tormenting him, leaving him flustered is my favorite new game. While he still lies on the ground in surprise, I straddle him, kissing the tip of his nose before hopping off, reminding him I would not fold so easily.

“If you think you are big enough, too.” I sway my hips on the way to the fighting mats, leaving a drooling Liam on the floor.

“That’s it no more Mr. Nice Alpha! You need to be taken down a notch, Kitten.” I turn, seeing he has joined me on the mat.

“Is that so? And how do you propose to do that? You have gotten slow and distracted.” Liam was circling me, studying me. I shot out my leg to put him back on the mat. He avoided the advance with ease. Liam grabbed my leg before I finished my sweep, pulling it towards him at the same time launching himself on top of me. He had me pinned both hands behind my head. His body completely covered mine. That stupid smirk plasters his face. We stay there, our eyes locked in a battle for dominance. I no longer want to resist the pull giving into desire. I raise up, our lips connect. Sparks travel to my very core. The sensation filled with love and lust we break only to fill our burning lungs with oxygen. Liam is practically vibrating with joy. I joined him laughing at ourselves. He gets off of me, offering me his hand.

“Come on Kitten, you have been ready for a long time now. Today, we forget about everything. I am spoiling you.”
My protests fell on deaf ears. We ended up spending the day cocooned, eating junk food and watching movies. It was the distraction we needed to relax, allowing our muscles to heal from training before the attack.
