lost in time and space
Memories faltered
Past invading present
Chaos filled emotions
No longer controllable
What was once felt resurfaces
Grieving what was already grieved
Tears reshed
Mutation occurs
Dreams now replace reality
Unsure of everything
Lost to the damaged synapses
The body grows stagnant
Unwilling to heal
Unable to find the missing pieces
To the life already lived
The journey traveled mapped out
Is lost in the wreckage
Scars a reminder of deception
Tricks played out in dreams
Leading to more of the unremembered
Fractured minds unmend hearts
