i woke up this morning extremely tired. what was the point of going to sleep if i'm just going to wake up tired?
i got ready for school and since it was a little warmer today i decided to take advantage of it and wear a cute white top and some low waisted jeans.

i went downstairs to eat some breakfast and then it was time to go.
"dad i'm ready." i called out to him.
today my dad was taking me, i loved my dad but we weren't as close as me and my mom. he was really busy with work and we just never really have time to talk to each other.
"i'm coming sweetheart!" he called back. he was running around looking for this specific tie because he had an important meeting with his boss.
after about 5 minutes he finally found it and we got in the car. it was silent in the car and just a little awkward.
we finally got to school and i got out of the car. "bye dad, love you." i told him. "bye honey have a good day at school." he smiled.
and he drove off. as i was walking to class i started to think about ashtray. he told me that he wasn't really a good person, i know he sells drugs but why would that make him terrible?
i started to overthink but i told myself to forget about it. ashtray makes me happy and that's all that matters. but what he said will always be in the back of my head.
as usual i sat in class thinking. i got my work done and just stayed in my own head. i observed a lot and noticed everything.
there was a girl in my class who started wearing a lot of bracelets ever since her and her boyfriend ended things.
there was another girl who wore an initial necklace but it wasn't her initial.
everyone says i'm the quiet kid, and i am theres no denying it. the cool thing about being the "quiet kid" is that no one really cares what they say around you so i end up knowing everything about everyone.
i was known as the quiet kid but when you really get to know me you'll realize that i am so much more than that.
the school day went by pretty slow and what made it worse was the fact that gia wasn't at school today. she said rue and her mom got into it pretty bad so she stayed home.
gia's strong. she's been going through a lot ever since their father died because that's when rue started doing drugs.
after school i walked home and on the way i saw the gas station. it was pretty close to my house so i decided to go in really quick.
i saw fez and he welcomed me into the store telling me that ashtray was in the back.
"ok thanks." i said. he was talking to some blonde girl who's lips were to big for her face. "i'm faye." she looked at me. "hi, i'm scarlett." i half smiled. i decided to mind my business and just look for ashtray.
i walked in and saw ashtray. he was counting money and he looked as good as ever. "wassup shorty how you been?" he smiled. "i've been good, you?" i asked him. "i been ight." he said.
it was silent, i didn't know what to do or say to break the ice. "hey do you uh wanna come with me and gia to this party maddy is throwing?" i looked at him hoping he would say yes.
"yeah for sure, but only cause you finna be there" he smirked. i started to blush "oh ok, cool" i said nervously.
