Family dinner

We all got together at our house for dinner before thanksgiving when we all go our separate ways. Mommy Mila and Ally were cooking in the kitchen. The rest of us were just sitting in the living room. Mommy d-Mac was sitting next to Liam and Normani was sitting next to the Irish. Lauren was sitting on Zayn's lap and I was sitting on Austin's lap. Troy was on the other side of the room on the couch. Everyone was on their phones so I got up and went to Milas room and got her phone off her bed then I went back and sat down as if nothing happened. I was playing on her phone for a while till there was a knock at the door. Dinah and Liam were all cuddled together on their phones and I don't think anyone else was focused on the real world to hear it so being a kid I went and opened the door. Standing there in all his glory was Siope he hugged me and then put a finger to his mouth signaling me not to loudly acknowledge his presence. We walked in and then behind Dinah and Liam when he stopped with a hurt expression on his face. I could tell he was gonna leave so I yelled "Siope!" Loud enough for everyone to hear and Dinah jumped up and ran to him while Liam sat there with the smile that was on his face disappearing like a cloud of smoke. Dinah was standing there arms wrapped around him and Siope just smiling. "Siope hey! Liam Dinah come on and help me with the food!" Ally says walking in.
"Aw why?"
Cause you two decided to sit on the couch and text instead of setting the table like everyone else!"
"Lacey didn't do anything either!"
"Yeah and she's 8 and adorable!"
"Aw d-Mac you're adorable!" Liam says standing up "like a chipmunk!" He says poking her cheek.
"Shut up Payne you're not adorable!"
"Difference is love..." he just lifts up his shirt. "I don't need to be adorable!"
"Put your shirt down Lacey is in the room!"
He sticks his tongue out and walks into the kitchen. He's so immature. This coming from an 8 year old. Dinah walks into the kitchen and then we all come and sit around the big table. Liam sits between Louis and Dinah. Siope across from them clearly pissed off. I sat next to mommy Mila and mommy ally. Mila handed me my pill which I refused but she handed it to me anyways. "Let's pray!" Ally says overly enthusiastic. we lock hands and pray over the food. "So boys how was it picking up Lacey and Luisa?" Mila asked
"We caught some girls bullying her so we took care of it!"
"Aww sweetie!" Normani cooed.
"Were they older?" Camila asked.
"Yeah!"
"The school had Lacey placed in a seventh grade class so that must be why!"
"Well they ain't got nothing on you baby!" Ally says hugging me.
"How was the rest of your day Lacey?"
"It was fine I had all pretty normal classes. That language arts class is kind of boring!"
"Why?"
"I read all of the books already!"
"Ok we'll talk them about getting you in a 8th grade language arts class!"
"I had a musical theatre class it was alright I didn't really want to be there because I don't like being on stage so why would I want to learn about it."
"You'll get used to being in front of lots of people so don't worry about it!" Camila says
"But I don't want to do theatre!"
"Yeah but you'll start to like it!"
"I don't think so.." I mumbled
Soon the attention changed to the others days.
"Liam, Dinah what did you guys do today while we were gone?"
"Oh not much we went to lunch, then to the surf shop to pick up wax for one of the gremlins, then to the super market where this pinhead.." she slaps the back of his head. "Heard one of his songs play and started singing with a cucumber as a mic sending a snapchat to dani and el! so of course people started staring so then they figured out it was him and we were mobbed!"
"That is not my fault!"
"Yes it was!"
"You should not have yelled Liam shut up!"
"That's not what I said!"
"Sorry I forgot the sass! You said and I quote 'Liam stop using that cucumber as a mic or so help me I will send it one direction up your ass!' Mhm!" He says using the ultimate amount of sass even the finger.
"You're such a man child!"
"You're too sassy and mean!"
"You embarrass us!"
"But you love me anyways!"
"Eh!"
"Rude!"
"Okay moving forward! Camila?" Dinah says clearly drawing attention from the subject matter.
"Oh hum I just worked on some stuff! Siope?" Very suspiciously vague I might add.
"Oh I was just on the the plane back from Greece then I came here!" Siope just sat there staring down Liam like a hawk staring down prey. I felt like this might start something or end something. We talked for hours before it was time for me to go upstairs. Mommy Mila took me upstairs to my room and then I took my bath and brushed my teeth put on my pjs! "Goodnight Lacey!"
"Wait mommy?"
"Yeah!"
"Can you tell me a story!"
"Why?"
"Cause I want something pleasant to dream about so that I don't have an attack and wake you up!"
"Sweetie I don't mind being woken up!"
"I know but I feel bad that you guys have to do so much for me!"
"Don't you worry about that cause I want to do all of this!"
"Okay mommy!"
"Alright now here we go so there once was a dainty lass by the name of Lacey! She was the fairest maiden in all of the kingdom. She was once approached by a man in the woods while she was fetching wood. He said fair maiden what beautiful eyes you have, they sparkle like the ocean..." then I just fell asleep.

Camila's POV
She fell asleep in the middle of the story I smiled and kissed her forehead before going back down the stairs. "Dinah come do the dishes its both of our jobs and I did like two already! The rest are yours!" Liam says
"You are so lazy Liam!" She rolls her eyes and walks into the kitchen. I sat on the couch next to Austin. "Hey baby!" the look of Austin reminded me of the story he told earlier. I frown thinking about it. "what's wrong dear?"
"I just don't like thinking about kids bullying Lacey I don't want her to go through that again!"
"Ever thought about home schooling!"
"Yes but with our schedules and Lacey's advanced mind it wouldn't work not even with a tutor."
"Ok well don't think about it then! Lacey is strong and she can deal and I think if any one still bullies her even after two pop stars just picked her up from school she'd tell you!"
"I guess your right! But I worry for her!"
"We all do trust me! I pray for her every night before I go to bed!"
"That's sweet!"
"No I'm serious I pray for everything she has going on! I know I may not be the most religious guy but I pray for her still!"
"I am really worried that her nightmares are coming back because the psychologist says that if we're not careful she could have a have an asthma attack during a nightmare. I don't know what I'm going to do this weekend!"
"Why don't we bring her with us to your parents that way she can also meet Lauren's family!"
"Yeah that sounds good!"
"Great!" I lean my head in his chest and he kisses my forehead. I hear a crash in the kitchen so I go in to inspect. Dinah and Liam kissing in the kitchen. "Break something?" I say and they instantly separate.
"Camila this is not how it looks!"
"Yeah it is but I am not one to judge but seriously he's in the other room!" I say and pick up the plate on the floor. I grab Austin's hand and we go to my room to sleep in case Lacey wakes up late at night. The house is big enough so the guys stay here mostly cause the new couples are excited to have a night together. We have like 3 extra bedrooms so they could stay in those but instead Zayn bunked with Lauren, ally with Normani, Siope with Dinah, Liam and Niall in one room, Harry and Louis in another. It was an ideal setup for everyone but Liam and well you know why.
