Christmas eve

Camila's pov
We brought cookies and Ally brought bibles to the hospital. We were going to read bible stories and snack. It's a weird concept but no one was really into the idea of celebrating. Ally was the only one with an idea and she is a little "Jesus crazy" if you will. If he were a celebrity she'd have all of his memorabilia. I think she actually has a Jesus shirt. They upgraded Lacey to an extremely large room since right now we have the 5H girls the 1D boys, Hunter, Dylan, Demi, Taylor, Ariana, Calvin, Wilmer, and Justin Bieber. They were all pretty close with Lacey so it wasn't awkward at all. We all crowded in the room and I sighed as I looked at Lacey. She was just sitting there completely still. I saw her monitor start to beep louder and louder, faster and faster.
"Nurse!" I called scared for her life.
A bunch of doctors and nurses rushed in and kicked us out. They started messing with her monitors and stuff as we exited the room. I couldn't help but worry for her. I just couldn't lose her. I don't know how I would function if I lost her. I couldn't focus on anything else.
"Camila!"
"Wh-what?"
"We've been trying to catch your attention for the last 5 minutes!" I look up at the concerned face of Demi.
"Oh sorry!"
"They said that she's fine and we can go back into the room."
"Okay th-thanks!"
"She's fine Mila, it's ok!"
"I know, I am....worried thats all."
"Don't worry about her. She will wake up. So come on." I stood up and walked with Demi into the room. I looked at her body as she laid there more tubes and pipes attached to her than before. She looked sickly and it was hard. it was hard to look and not cry. I know that she will wake up but I still can't stand seeing her sick or pained. I walked in and sat by everyone and looked at the clock as it went by counting the moments without Lacey. It was just about 11:30. I only have 30 minutes till my favorite holiday. We still have all of Lacey's presents which she will get when she wakes up. If that be in two days, two weeks, two months. All I wanted was for all of the time without her to pass by super fast.
"Camila are you paying attention?"
"What-oh-sorry I was in another train of thought but I'm listening now."
"Ok can you tell us why God sent Abraham to kill his son Isacc."
"That's just cruel!"
"Do you know the answer?"
"um I don't know to kill a sinner!"
"To prove his loyalty to god!" A voice behind me says. Everyone goes dead silent and looks toward Lacey. "Why is everyone looking like they just killed a ghost?"
"Oh my gosh Lacey!" I rush over to the bed and she looks at me confusedly.
"Why are you so excited!"
"I can't believe you're awake."
"Mommy Mila if we have told you once we've told you a hundred times humans go to sleep and wake up not die!"
"Oh whatever ms. sassy! If you'd like to know you've been in a coma for a month."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah!"
"That all felt like minutes to an hour of sleep."
"Do you even remember what happened?" Austin asks
"I remember not being able to breathe and blacking out."
"That's it?"
"And a strange conversation between Dinah and mani over which Beyoncé song is best and I was not apart of that conversation."
We all laugh.
*cough* "flawless" normani says
*cough* "love on top" Dinah says. we laugh at their stupidity.
"We're so glad that you're better."
"I guess I am too!"
A doctor walks in.
"Woah she's up!"
"Yeah she just woke up!"
"That's interesting I have never seen someone in this hospital wake up from a coma early!"
"Well our girl is a fighter she's been through a lot!"
"You guys are free to take her home in a few days after we run some further tests."
"Okay thank you doctor!"
"Of course!" He walks out of the room.
"Hey little sis!" Dylan say
"Dyllie!" I can see him about to cry but he doesn't he's a man.
"Lacey because it's Christmas you can have anything you want here."
"There is one thing I wanna do!"
"What is it?"
"Lolo can I wear your SnapBack?"
"Yes of course you woke up you can wear my hat!" Lauren says sniffling. She places her hat on Lacey's head. "I don't want it dirty, bent, or messed up when I get it back!"
"Ok I promise!"
"Good!"
"Now who wants cookies!" Niall says
"mee!" Lacey waves her hands in the air. We talked and caught her up on the Keeping up with the Kardashians episodes that she missed.
"Wait so Bruce went through with it."
"Yep he has his and Kendall's gun in a safe somewhere in the house."
"Wow that's some deep stuff."
"Yeah it is."
"Mommy Lolo?"
"Yeah bebe."
"Why is your hair all messed up?"
"No it's not."
"Yeah it is, it's a freaking birds nest."
"You're so rude."
"It's true though." Lauren starts nervously running her hands through her hair trying to fix it. "She really believed me?" Lacey says laughing.
"What?" Lauren looks confused.
"Your hair is not a mess."
"Why did you tell me that?"
"To see if you'd believe me."
"How was I supposed to know you weren't serious?"
"When is your hair ever messed up?"
"Always."
"Lies."
"Truth."
"Mommy A, Lolo is lying." Lacey says to Ally.
"I am not." Lauren defends.
"Lauren we do not lie, you're in trouble when we get home." Ally says
"You got me in trouble you little twerp."
"Maybe you shouldn't have lied then." Lauren makes an angry face at her. Lacey returns it and they butt heads. It's so cute. I had to take a picture. It was adorable, you would've taken one too.
