Adopted! (Fifth Harmony)

The meeting

Zayn put in his sweatshirt hat and sunglasses to take me to the meeting while a guard followed at close proximity for safety reasons. We walked in and they handed us some papers and strangely no one noticed who Zayn was. We walked through and sat down next to another family with two girls and their father. The girls looked familiar so they must go to my school. We listened to someone introduce the coaches. Someone poked my arm. "Hi!" She said with a smile.
"Hello." I greet back a little shy.
"Is this your first year?"
"Yeah you?" I ask warming up a little.
"Third."
"Oh." I recoil slightly.
"Well you can stick with me and I'll show you the way."
"Thanks!"
"My names mackenzie by the way! But everyone calls me Mack!"
"Mines Lacey!"
"Oh cool nice to meet you!"
As the meeting goes on they give us information on practices and games and other pointless stuff like that. I'm just kidding that very important they told us the team name and information on uniforms, equipment, and such. It was super boring though. After a long grueling lecture it was finally time to go. I had to shake Zayn awake. "Is it over?"
"You slept through the whole thing?"
"Yeah sort of."
"Now you have to explain to your girlfriend why you can't tell her any of the information." He perks up.
"Wait can't you just tell her or tell me."
"Nope should've paid attention
"I will buy you ice cream!"
"Then you'll have to explain to your girlfriend why you bought me ice cream when she specifically told you not to."
"What Lau doesn't know can't hurt her."
"Deal I get my ice cream first though."
"Wouldn't have it any other way."
He takes me to the ice cream parlor and we pick out our flavors. I got cookie dough and he got chocolate. We sat down and as we are I gave him the information. He just nods along with my words. I finish half of my ice cream and then put it to the side. "You done?"
"Yeah I'm done!"
"Well then let's go!" He takes the papers and then throws out our ice cream I wipe my face with a napkin then we leave the parlor and head home. He gets on a Skype call and tells her everything he "learned" from the meeting and Harry took me up to bed. "Hey Lacey get in the bath and then come and get changed he says focusing his attention on his phone giggling at whoever was texting him. "Who ya texting?"
"No one!"
"Who is Bae?" I say looking at his phone.
"Go take your shower kid!" He gently pushes me into the bathroom. I laugh and then do as he says and get in the bathtub I put my ear to the opposite wall and hear some arguing. "Dinah we can't keep doing this....you have to!...if you don't it over.....fine fine two more weeks!" I guess that was Liam talking to Dinah on the phone. I finish my bath then I get changed into my pajamas. I grab my book on my nightstand and read but then Liam comes in and takes it away. "Liam give it back!"
"Your mother told me that part of your punishment is no reading for fun."
"Ugh!" I complain then I get under the covers and tuck my head underneath. "Goodnight kiddo!" He says
"Oh and Liam!"
"Yeah?"
"I have a friend coming over afterschool to study tomorrow!"
"Ok I'll tell your moms and I'll pick you up!"
"Night Li!" He turns off the light and I fall into a thankfully dreamless sleep.
