"We'll be gone for one week, max." Jack lied strait through his teeth. We have no idea how long we'll be gone for.

"I still don't understand why you had to tell us at four in the morning." Groaned Sammy, still in his boxers. He yawned and tried to pull the blanket further over his body.

"We just wanted to say bye." Jack snapped, rolling his eyes. He was the one doing most of the talking. I was too freaked.

"And you're leaving at the same time?" Asked Nash to Nate. I stared at my shoes as we all lied to their faces. We had called Nate and he decided to leave with us. He didn't feel safe here either, because the rivals knew him and Jack were sorta partners, or something. I wasn't really listening at that time.

"Uh, yeah. Ma wants be back home for the week." He tried to smile and rubbed the back of his neck. Do all guys do that?

"Are you guys having a threesome?" Semi-joked Johnson.

"Shut up." Were the first words that left my mouth. It was quiet for a while, and somehow I knew they knew we were lying.

"Well, uh, I guess we should get going." Jack tried to smile. The guys stood up and we all exchanged goodbyes. I wrapped my arms around Johnson's neck, breathing in his familiar scent. He always smelled like the beach.

"Bye Johnson." I mumbled, blinking away tears. I promised myself I wouldn't cry, but I had no idea when I would be coming back, or if I would be safe.

"Uh, bye Baird." He said. I could tell by his tone of voice he was exchanging confused glances with the other boys. I pulled him in closer and gently kissed his cheek.

"I'll see you later." I pulled away, only to be wrapped into Nash's arms. I brought my arms around his waist and crashed my face in his chest. He stroked my hair, and although he had no idea why I was so emotional, he comforted me.

"You okay?" He whispered in my ear. I knew no one could here him, they were all exchanging there own goodbyes. I nodded and gave him a meek smile.

"I'll see you later, kay Nash?" I asked.

"Uh, sure." He said, unsurely and confused. No, he needed to be sure.

"Say it like you mean it." I said desperately.

"Of course." He said, pulling me back in for another hug.

"Bye Nash. Say bye to Hayes for me, I won't be able to use my phone for a while." I pulled away. He nodded. All the boys headed towards the door, but I engulfed Sammy in a bear hug.

"What the hell is going on?" He asked, his voice low so no one could hear. I pulled away and peered into his eyes.

"N-Nothing." I stuttered.

"Is Jack hurting you? Or forcing you? Anything?"

"What? No." I was surprised he even asked me that.

"You would tell me though, right?" He asked. I rolled my eyes at his overprotectiveness. I was still closest to Sammy, and he was like an older brother.

"Of course." He nodded at my answer. "I gotta go, Sam." I said after he refused to let me go.

"Okay, bye Erica."

"Bye, Wilkinson." Tears pooled my eyes, and I walked away, not even thinking about looking back.

"We never got the chance to say bye to Mia and Sophia." I mumbled as we pulled into the motel parking lot. We had only driven for an hour, and jack said we could stop and start again in a day or so.
