LISTEN TO UNA MATTINA-LUDOVICO EINAUDI
I ran. I kept running and running until I couldn't feel my feet anymore. Police sirens were blaring and I could hear Nate and Luke and Calum yelling after me, telling me I could stop running. But I couldn't. I'm not sure why. After killing three guys with my bare hands and a few knives, I felt a little queasy. Half of the guys followed me out my way, and the other half followed Jack out. We had to take two separate exits, to avoid some sort of problem Luke had explained earlier. I didn't really care now, because I was out.
I collapsed to the floor, in the midst of all the long grass. I stared up at the sky, feeling laughter bubble out of my chest. We're out. Jack and I are out. Jack, I remembered.
I sat up strait, squinting my eyes at the blaring sun, trying to find him.
"Jack!" I yelled, looking around. I waited a few seconds, looking everywhere for him. Police men started to approach me, as well as the other boys. But all I wanted was Jack. "Jack!" I yelled again. I started to feel panic rising in my chest. Where's Jack?
"Erica, we need to get as far away from the building as possible before it blows up." Nate said, taking my hand.
I look up at him as he bit his lip. "Where's Jack?" I asked.
"Miss, we need to go." A police officer told me, pulling me up to my feet.
As I finally start to understand what's going on, they start to drag me to the cars. "NO!" I screamed as loud as I could. "JACK! WE CAN'T LEAVE JACK!" I screamed and tried to run towards the building. These damn police officers were too strong.
"Erica! Shut the fuck up, do you want to die? We need to get out of here!" Yelled Calum, surprising me.
"What about Jack?" I sobbed, tears finally breaking through.
"We need to go." Said a shirtless Luke, his shirt wrapped around his arm as a bandage.
Just as I was about to protest, an immense explosion goes off in front of me, the building, and whatever else is inside, blowing up to pieces. I felt my life flash before my eyes, as I fell to the ground due to the massive vibration.
"JACK!" My hoarse voice filled the air. "JACK, WHERE ARE YOU!" I scream as I let my head fall back, Nate and Luke rushing to my side.
"What's wrong with her?" I heard Nate ask Luke as I collapsed to the group, tears poring down my face. His voice was somehow far away, muffled and incomprehensible.
"Shock, I guess." Luke answered. "We'll get you help, Erica." He said, this time addressing me.
And the last thing I remember is Jack's beautiful face, just now a floating memory.
Woah. In case you guys didn't realized, i cut out the part where they fight and shit because it was pointless and boring and i tried to write it but it didn't interest me. Sorry if you wanted it but maybe i'll put it in later as like an extra or something if you guys want. So yeah, this is emotional. This is the last chapter, followed by the epilogue. AND YES THERE IS ANOTHER BOOK COMING OUT, DON'T WORRY BABES. LOVE YOU AND DON'T BE TOO SAD.
