Jack
I intertwined my fingers with Erica's. She looked up at me and smiled, quickly pecking me on the cheek. This week has been amazing. Erica got over my job very quickly, and I had made a shit load of cash. We were both very happy, mostly because everything was going great. We were both doing very well in all of our classes, hanging out a bunch with all our friends. It's been nice.
It was Friday afternoon, and of course I'm taking my baby out for lunch. It was a gorgeous day, and I'm glad we both brought our sun glasses, even in the middle of november. I watched Erica as she asked for a table, and the hostess brought us to our seats.
Click.
I snapped my neck. What the hell was that? I squinted my eyes, trying to see as far as I could. It sounded like a camera. Was someone taking pictures of us? I mentally shook my head. No,dumbass, I thought to myself. The only downside of this job was my slight paranoia.
"Jack?" Erica shook my arm.
"Huh?" I turned to her. She must have been talking to me.
"Do you want something to drink?" She repeated.
"Uh, I'll get a coke." I mumbled, sitting down in front of Erica. The waitress nodded, and I couldn't help but notice how her black extensions bobbed. I had definitely seen that head of fake locks before. 5 pounds of weed. Wednesday night. She had been sketchy and had asked a bunch of questions about my job. Sorta like my first client.
"Jack!" Erica spat. I looked up at her, and she looked a little annoyed.
"Sorry. She's one of my clients." I whispered. She nodded.
"What are you gonna get?" She asked me.
"You wanna split something?" I asked. She smiled and reached for my knee under the table. I weakened, just by her touch. She smirked and bit her lip, driving me crazy.
"Sure, baby." She grinned. I knew she was trying to get me to take her home. This was a continuous game for us, always trying to turn each other on in uncomfortable situations.
"Let's get a pizza." I hissed through my teeth, as she moved her hand higher. She must be thanking God this table is so tiny and she has a perfect reach.
"Cheese, please." Erica giggled.
Click.
There it was again! I snapped my head around, peering around for the mysterious noise.
"Did you hear that?" I asked, facing Erica. She took her hand off my knee and crossed her arms, obviously annoyed I ended our little game.
"What?" She rolled her eyes.
"I think someone's taking pictures of us." I whispered. I looked into her eyes, which had softened deeply. She grabbed my hand across the table and sighed.
"You're just paranoid, baby. I'm sure there's nothing." She meekly smiled.
"You're right." I'm not sure who I was trying to convince I was just stressed, me, or her.
"You need to relieve tension." She whispered, licking her lips and grazing her delicate fingers on my arm veins.
"I believe so." I smirked, knowing what she was getting at. I watched her stand up, leaning over so her lips were hovering next to my ear.
"Come to the bathroom?" She asked, already knowing my answer. She turned away, swaying her hips as she walked off.
I cleared my throat and stood up, following her. I smirked as I thought about what we were about to do.
