Chapter 1

Naruto woke up only to find himself in a big hall.

'Huh? Where am I?' he thought as he looked around. It was a completely unknown place as he got up and started to walk.

'This place seems unknown, yet familiar. It's like... home.'

Naruto didn't know how it felt to have a place to call home. He did have an apartment, but for him, it was just a place to stay. It was cold and was just a mess.

Naruto was exploring the place when he reached the study. He opened the door, and he found that there wasn't even a spec of dust even though the whole place seemed abandoned.

He walked to the desk and saw a photo frame of a blonde man standing next to a redhead who seemed pregnant. Both were smiling brightly, and Naruto too unconsciously copied them.

He brushed the table with his hand and the next moment weird symbols appeared on it.

'WHAT IS HAPPENING!' he thought as he was blinded by a bright light, and the next moment a scroll appeared in front of him.

Curious, he opened it to read the contents of the scroll.

Naruto,

I am pretty sure that if you are here you've at least unlocked your Chakra. I know that since you had to unlock a seal that only responded to your chakra. 

Now I don't know how you reached here, whether it was as I told lord Third, to bring you here when you became a Chunin or some other way, but you're here and that's what matters. I am your father, and I want to start by telling you that I love you.

I am writing this while fighting the Nine-Tailed Beast (Perks of being a Fuinjutsu expert, I can write with my Chakra. It's my secret to Paperwork) and if you're reading this it means I'm dead. If that is the case, then I likely sealed the Nine-Tailed beast in you. Why? Because I love and trust you, and I believe that you'll be the one to befriend him and bring peace to the world. I am sorry, I know the burden of a Jinchuriki, someone who has tailed beasts inside them, since your mother was one too. But... I trust you, and that's it. I don't care whether you become a ninja, or hate the village, or anything, I'll always love you. But I know you won't. After all, you're my son. 

Now Naruto, this is Namikaze Uzumaki compound, my compound, your mother's compound, our compound. You can do whatever you want. Just so you know, there are multiple beginner and advanced books, which you could use. I would personally recommend studying Fuinjutsu, since that's kind of in our blood. Don't worry if you can't do it, I am sure you'll find something you can excel in. I know you will.

Did I tell you I love you? Probably did, but still, I'll repeat. I LOVE YOU. AND SO DOES YOUR MOTHER. I am sorry, and I hope you can forgive this old fool one day for all the wrongs I've done to you.

Naruto didn't know when he started crying, but he knew that he loved his dad.

"W-what are you even asking f-forgiveness for? I know you're awesome, and I promise that I'll become even more Kickass than you. Even if it means that I'll have to struggle day and night to become strong. I WILL MAKE YOU PROUD!" muttered Naruto while sobbing.

'Now let's get started. I won't fall back!'

Two days had passed, and there was no sign of Naruto. The academy was going to resume in two more days, and Iruka didn't want to accept, but he was worried for Naruto.

'Why am I so worried for the Demon brat! He killed my parents... right? T-that kid... who can be no older than 6, killed my parents? H-he Kyubi... just pretending to b-be innocent... Jinchuriki...' 

No matter how hard Iruka tried, he couldn't bring himself to hate Naruto anymore. Maybe he saw himself in Naruto, maybe he could see inside his eyes when he pranked the village, he could see past the mischief, he could see the pain and sadness. He didn't know what it was... but it had caused him to grow attached to him.

Or maybe it was just their Ramen obsession.

as for Hiruzen, he was pale and worried.

'I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE CARE OF HIM! WHAT WAS I DOING, UCHIHA MASSACRE HAD JUST HAPPENED, AND THERE WAS ALREADY UNREST! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!'

As for Inu, or as he went as a civilian, Kakashi, he was beating up the Chunin for the answers.

It was the morning of the third day and Hiruzen was sitting in his office, when his window opened and four Anbu quickly jumped forwards protectively, Kakashi being one of them, and Iruka too on his guard.

"Hey Jiji," said Naruto as he sat on the window.

"NARUTO! WHERE WERE YOU?" asked Hiruzen, his eyes wide.

"Ah, a safe spot. Can't tell you where, not in front of them anyways. Also, please tell the reception lady that I can be allowed inside, because she doesn't seem to understand that," said Naruto as Hiruzen's eyes flared with anger for a moment. But the anger went away as fast as it had appeared and he once again looked at Naruto, this time noticing his details. 

He was slightly panting, and was covered in dirt. His hands were stained with a bluish-black substance, which was probably ink. His eyes looked tired, but they had a fire inside them, something, unlike other times when there was just pain and sadness.

"Uh... have you eaten anything?" Hiruzen asked as Naruto rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

"Nope, didn't eat a thing," he said biting his tongue as Iruka raised his eyebrow.

As for Kakashi, he was just looking at him intrigued.

'I am pretty sure he wasn't emitting this much chakra back then. He has unlocked his Chakra. But... I don't know why but he seems slightly more powerful.'

"Tch. Naruto, that's not good at all," said Iruka as Naruto flinched.

He remembered all the times Iruka scolded him for the smallest of things, as if he was targeting him.

'I guess he was, since he knows I'm a... what was it? Yeah, Jinchuriki, the human sacrifice.'

"You will come with me right this instance," Iruka ordered sternly as Naruto became a little nervous. Was Iruka sensei also going to beat him up?

'Okay, I did not expect him to treat me to Ichiraku's,' thought Naruto, still a little surprised.

"Hey old man, do you have anything with more vegetables and a little more balanced. Since this brat only eats Ramen, I'd prefer it to be more healthy," said Iruka as he pulled Naruto's cheeks causing him to yelp.

"OUCH OUCH OUCH! IT HURTS SENSEI!"

"Then promise me you'll eat better and more healthy," said Iruka as he stared at him.

"Y-yeah..." said Naruto with a pout.

"Good. Now the school starts in two days, I do not want you to miss it at any cost," said Iruka as Naruto nodded.
