Mikey and I both exchanged looks of worry. He got up and looked through his drawers while I put on my jeans. I wasn't going to even bother changing into my shirt; his shirt was too comfortable to take off. He took out a gun and a switchblade. He walked over to me and gave me the switchblade. I was going to protest, but he put a finger to his lips indicating me to be quiet. He walked towards the door and whispered to me "Come with me and stay close."
I followed behind him to the door. We were walking down the halls when we heard a couple more gunshots. We walked downstairs and into the kitchen. Mason was shooting at something through the kitchen window and Andrew was on the floor holding his shoulder. I kneeled down on the floor in front of Andrew and asked "What's going on?"
"There are these guys from our rival gang that are trying to kill us." he said with a pained face.
I nodded and looked at his shoulder. The bullet just grazed his skin with some stitching he should be fine.
I kissed his forehead and said "I'll be right back, don't worry. Everything is going to be fine."
He just nodded. I stood up and went with Mikey to the living room. It was dark, so we could only see 5 dark figures shooting at people in the distance through the shattered living room windows. Mikey started shooting at the people in the distance, too, and I went back to where Andrew was.
I helped him stand up and I took out the first aid kit. I took out the needle and thread. Andrew's face paled when he saw the alcohol. I wiped away the blood while Andrew was cursing at how bad it hurt.
When he saw me tying the thread to the needle he got up from the counter where he was sitting and said "You are getting anywhere near me with that thing."
I sighed and said "I have to, if I don't you're going to get your arm infected and then you're going to die."
He ran to the counter and sat on it and said "Hurry up, woman!"
I laughed and started to stich him up. I know I was being dramatic, but it worked didn't it. The entire time, Andrew was wincing and shouting curses at no one in particular. When I done I put a band aid on it and some gauzes around his injured shoulder.
He thanked me and then I got a 5 glasses of water for the people that were shooting. I walked in the living room after Andrew. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I dropped the 5 glasses of water to ground in surprise. Everyone turned to me and I just stood there in shock. It's her.
She ran up to me and hugged me tightly and I hugged her back just as tight. She let go of me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
We stood there awkwardly until she cleared her voice and said "Can you just say something to me?"
"What am I supposed to say to my dead sister?" I asked with tears in my eyes.
She sighed and said "I can explain."
I smiled while wiping my tears and said "I just, can't believe it's really you, Rosemary."
