Chapter 6: Deadly Hugs

When I woke in the morning, I was surprisingly happy to go to school. I got out of bed and got my acid washed short shorts, nude colored crop top, and a light brown cardigan. I took a quick shower and got ready. I put my hair into fishtail braid and put on a white beanie and laced up my white converses. I grabbed my phone, keys, and book bag and I went downstairs to get breakfast, but only to find my mom and dad making out against the refrigerator. I covered my eyes with my hands and screamed "Ew! We eat here!"

I could hear my parents stop and some shuffling noises probably my mom and dad straightening their clothes and fixing their hair. They finally finished and my dad cleared his throat and said "You can open your eyes now, Rosie."

I peeked through my hands and glared at them and said "Next time you want to have full blown make out session in the kitchen, warn me."

Almost as if on cue Chris walks in and says "Did you guys get caught making out, again?"

My mom blushes and puts her head in my dad's chest and my dad rubs the back of his neck and sighs when he says "Yes, but in our defense we thought you guys already left for school."

My brother and I looked at each other and I said "Do whatever you want just don't do it in the kitchen or any other family area."

My mom and dad just nod sheepishly. I go to my car, but Chris stops and asks "Can I catch a ride with you to school?"

I just nodded and got in the car, Chris not far behind. Chris and I go to the same school since he's a sophomore and I'm a junior. The car ride was quiet the only noise came from the radio. When we got out of the car when I was done parking, my brother immediately went over to my side and whispered "Prince charming at 3 o'clock."

When I turn around I see Michael walking up to me with the twins and Andrew right behind him. Andrew runs up to me and hugs me tightly and I hug him back just as tight. Jacob waves at me with a smile and Mason smiles and winks at me. Michael stiffens and smacks Mason in the back of his head. I chuckle at this and then Chris nudges me and used his eyes to point at Michael and his brothers.

I finally understood what he meant and said "Oh, Mikey. This is my brother Chris." I looked at Chris and looked at Mikey and said "This is Michael." I pointed at Jacob and said "That's Jacob." I pointed to Mason and said "That's Mason." Then, I pointed at Andrew and said "And that's Andrew."

Michael was the first one to say "Hi, Chris and you can call me Mikey."

And then Jacob said "Hi, call me Jake or whatever you want. I really don't care everyone calls me something different." After he just shrugs.

Mason smiled at Chris and said "What's up, Chris. Call me Mas." When he was done introducing himself he winked at me again which earned him another smack in the head by Mikey.

Andrew smiled at me and then at Chris and said "Nice to meet you, call me Drew if you want to."

We all ended up walking inside, together. Everyone was giving me weird looks and that's when I noticed that Michael had intertwined our hands and I had Andrew's arm thrown over my shoulder. My brother was next to Mikey and Mason and Jacob were next to Andrew. It was definitely a sight to see. The Gomez brothers don't hang out with anyone besides their brothers.

It turns out Michael and I have every class together except fifth and third period. My brother has Jacob and Mason for every class. They never talked, so they never noticed. Andrew is a freshman, so he only has second, third, and fifth with Chris, Jacob, and Mason. We all left to our classes Mason, Chris, and Jacob going one way, Andrew going by himself another way, and Mikey and I another. We went to our first period still holding hands. I was so confused were we dating? Was it just a friendly gesture? Or are we together? This guy cannot be any more confusing.
