Chapter 7: Trust Me
I woke up with a massive headache; I guess that's what I get for going to sleep late and not eating dinner. I hopped out of bed and threw on some black skinny jeans, a white crop top, and my pink and white converses. I finished getting ready and went downstairs to the kitchen. I didn't bother to put on makeup, today. I walked into the kitchen and saw Chris eating some cereal, my mom was making toast for her and my dad, and my dad was reading the morning newspaper. I give my mom and dad a kiss on the cheek and say "I'm going to go to school. Are you coming, Chris?" I grabbed my bag, keys, phone, and a granola bar.
Chris finished his cereal and said "Yeah, let's go."
We walk out the door after we say quick goodbyes to our parents and get into the car and drive to school. We sang We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift at the top of our lungs until we got to school. We got out and we started towards the entrance until someone yelled "Princess, wait up!"
I automatically knew who it was, so I turned around. I was going to say hello, but he crashed his lips onto mine before I could say anything. I kissed him back almost immediately and then he pushed us against a wall outside of the school's entrance. The kiss was rough and desperate, but I didn't care it just made the kiss more passionate. We kissed until someone cleared their throat and we slowly stopped and turned around to see the twins with smirks on their faces and my brother and Drew with their mouths opened slightly. Jacob finally spoke up and said "Well the bell rang about-" He looked down at his wrist watch and back up at us and continued "- 5 minutes ago, just thought you should know."
Michael's brothers went off to class, but my brother stayed and glared at Mikey and said "Listen here Prince Charming, hurt her and you die." He took one last glance at me and walked off to class without another word.
I blushed and looked at Mikey he had an amused look on his face and he said "I think your brother is starting to like me." His voice was dripping with sarcasm.
I started to laugh like crazy and we walked to our class hand and hand. When we got there we sat down together and the teacher started to teach something like we cared. While we were supposed to be doing some classwork, Mikey stopped and asked me "Princess, do you....Uh....Want to go on a date with me on Friday?" He almost seemed nervous. I was about to say yes, but he cut me off. "Or we could go some other time if you're busy....or we could not go you know if you don't- "I cut him off my softly kissing his lips and said "I'd love to."
He smiled at me and not one of his boyish grins or half smiles, it was a genuine smile. The rest of the day I didn't pay any attention to my teachers. I was too busy daydreaming about Mikey and our date that was on Friday.
We all went to the brothers' house and we spent the afternoon playing board games like Monopoly, Candy Land, and Sorry. Chris was afraid to be within a 5 feet radius of Drew, but Drew didn't blame Chris for what happened. Drew just kept telling Chris that it wasn't his fault because he didn't know. At around 6 o'clock, Mikey and I went to his room, but not before Chris threatened Mikey, again. When we finally got into his room, we immediately started kissing, this time it was completely different. The kiss was slow and gentle. We stopped kissing and decided to watch a movie. I had persuaded Mikey into renting a movie on the TV, instead of watching his horror movies. We watched Divergent because it had the romance I wanted and the action he wanted.
Sometime during the movie, Michael had taken off his shirt and changed into some sweats. I just put on one of his shirts because they were basically a dress on me. The movie ended and we were just laying his bed staring at the ceiling letting our thoughts drift. I had my hand on his chest, he had his arms around me tightly, and our legs tangled together. I saw his tattoo when he shifted, I traced the letters J.G with my index finger, which made him shiver. I looked up at him and said "Who's J.G.?"
