My Little Dove

Chapter 15

(A/N: Sorry this took so long, I moved)

Bucky's POV:

Dove gets in the car and I immediately kiss her.

"How was work?"

"It was ok, we were busy today"

"That's good, do I have to beat anyone's ass?"

"Not today"

"Love the dynamic" Frank laughs

Dove turns around and her mouth falls open. "Is that Frank Castle in your car?"

"That is"

She looks at me and whispers in my ear.

"I have the biggest celebrity crush on him"

Something about her saying that made me feel some kind of way.

We all sit on the couch and Frank talks to Dove.

"So, do you like Bucky?"

"He's ok" She jokes

"Just ok?"

"Well, I guess he's kinda cute" She laughs

I could tell she was flustered over her little crush. I was being so hypocritical, but this made me so upset. Frank was basically a better version of me. Smarter, stronger, more physically fit, a better lover, his voice was deeper, more humble, probably a bigger dick too.

She liked him and not me. Ouch.

I stand up and leave them alone, hoping I wouldn't come back to them having sex or some shit.

"You're an idiot"

I gasped, surprised by the sudden presence.

"You say that about every day, Tones"

"It's cause you get more idiotic with each day"

"She likes him and not me"

"Now, what the fuck would make her think you like her? The constant pestering? The sleeping with everyone else? Oh, or is it the kisses?"

I close the fridge with a fruit cup in hand. "Yes?"

"Fucking dumbass"

I walk back into the living room and hand Dove the fruit.

She looks at it and smiles. "I actually really wanted one, thank you"

I smile and sink back into the couch. She rested her hand on my leg. Then I remembered her present.

I give her a quick kiss on her temple and run to my room.

I walk back down with a pink box.

I hold it out to her, she stops talking and looks at it. "For me?"

"Yes, be careful"

"Why? What's in here? Is it a puppy?"

"I think you'd know if it was a puppy"

She opens the box and smiles back at me.
