"WHO THE FUCK DID IT."

Everyone in the conference room stayed silent as their eyes shifted from one another.

"If no one speaks up right now, I'm going to-."

"Oh shut the hell up, we all know it was you so don't try to drag us down Naruto."

The blonde man's red eyes glared at Sasuke with so much intensity, everyone else was afraid to move, scared to fall into his vision range.

"Mah, calm down both of you, we don't even know if it involves us," Kakashi tried to deescalate the tension. "All of you were children when these murders happened, it couldn't have been you."

"So what?! This son of a bitch could-!!"

"And we didn't allow killing to be part of our practice until two years ago. It's very unlikely for any one of us to be the murderer," Kakashi interrupted again, "unless they've already been subjected to it."

"The only thing you're doing Hakate is making yourself more suspicious," Neji added to the conversation. "You're older than any one of us and you participated in the Third Great Ninja War. You have quite the killing record."

Everyone eyed the silvered-haired man.

"That maybe be true, but I have no motive for these murders," he smiled. "I never knew our dear Sakura-chan until I became her dearest Sensei."

"You know who's the most likely suspect, Ino," Shikamaru pointed out. "She's the deranged one who killed first and dragged us into eliminating others."

"WHAT! I was a fucking child! The only thing I wanted to do at that age was marry Sakura-chan," Ino shouted, her face red in anger. "Besides, I'm not the one who has a BLOODTHIRSTY DEMON in them!"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU PSYCHO!"

"YOU CAN'T CALL ME A PSYCHO WHEN YOU KILL TWICE THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WE KILL IN A WEEK!"

"THOSE BASTARDS WERE OGLING HER! AT LEAST I'M DOING MY JOB! YOU'RE TOO BUSY LOOKING AT YOURSELF TO 'PLAY' WITH SAKURA-CHAN'S MIND!"

"THAT'S BECAUSE I ACTUALLY PUT IN EFFORT FOR HER UNLIKE YOU, YOU PUNGENT PIECE OF SHI-!"

"Stop shouting, we're not getting anywhere this way," Shikamaru sighed. "ANBU is going to be spread out thin to find information about the murders and surveillance, so they won't expect anyone to steal information, so luckily," he slammed a thin folder on the table, "I got this."

"What might this be?" Kakashi asked, eyeing the black reflective exterior of the binder.

"These are all the forensic records available to date," Shikamaru explained as he passed it to Ino, who has heaving from her shouting match, to pass to the others. "We already know the majority of the murders were done with fire. The exact origin of them is still unknown so we can't draw conclusions on anyone yet that utilizes fire-related techniques, but we do have certain bodies with the cause of death being manual."

"What," Naruto asked as he finally sat down.

"He means that some of the murders were done by hand, therefore weapons must have been involved," Sai chimed in as he smiled at everyone.

"By hand? I doubt a child would be strong enough to kill grown adults, maybe by accident, but not as reoccurring to the amount found," Sasuke said as he examined the folder. "Kunai? Everyone has at least owned one in their lifetime, this doesn't help."

"That's true, but the size, sharpness, and weight could help us identify its origin; for all we know, the type of kunai used could belong to some other village," Shikamaru said as lit a cigarette. "Or it could help us pinpoint certain shops that sell them."
