Dear Readers!

I wanted to apologize for not keeping up with the story. The premise of the story was exciting and edged onto bigger things, however, as I continued to work on drafts, revelations hit me.

1. The story was meant to Sakura centered, and it was, but it primarily relied on other characters' interactions. It made me unsure if it met expectations.

2. It's full of memories/flashbacks that eat most of the chapters at strange times. As I read the story, trying to put myself in the shoes of the reader, I couldn't help but skip these parts because I wanted to get back onto the main story, especially when it added nothing to a character's characterization because they didn't even star in the dialogue.

3. Too many characters. I've always loved stories where Sakura was a sweetheart and brought everyone around her to their knees, but I couldn't help but wonder how the author felt, incorporating so many people and how they interact with others. I felt overwhelmed as I tried to figure it out.

I loved writing about how the Pink System. Their intentions to one day betray the group and claim her were so exciting to me, but I couldn't do the same for Sakura's parts. Her thoughts felt repetitive despite the fact she's hiding a secret as big as that of the existence of a Pink System.

It made me wonder if maybe decreasing the number of characters could help make their interactions feel more exciting. It would also help include more bloodshed and chaos because it would include unaware characters getting involved instead of OC's being at their mercy with no consequences.

4. Sakura needs to be characterized. As mentioned before, she is lacking in this story. I've tried to incorporate ways to show she is being manipulated and lied to in the story, but it's overshadowed by the Pink System scheming. It leaves no room for surprises because it just results in Sakura reacting to something that was already mentioned.

For these reasons, I plan to rewrite the story and migrate to AO3.

Of course, it's just begun and it won't appear until later in the future, but I hope some of you will be able to read it and see good changes.

I'm sure there must be some you'd like to see; like who is the male(?) lead among the fire dumpster that is the PS?

Will Sakura ever figure out the secrets that unknowingly surround her?

What about her newfound power?

Are any of the people in the PS, really willing to put the village at war with itself?

Who will die?

Who knows!

However, I'm interested to see who you'd like to see Sakura with! If she even decides to stay with one of them, maybe she doesn't have a choice.

Anyway.
