THE SALVATORES HAD DECIDED TO ATTACK KATHERINE AT THE MASQUERADE BALL. Rosie had been dragged along by Caroline despite her not wanting to leave her bed that day. Rosie begged and pleaded with the blonde, hoping to get out of it but unluckily for her, Caroline forced her to put on a skimpy dress that definitely wasn't her size and placed a mask on her face.

"I hate you, you know that?" Rosie mumbled to her sister. Ever since Caroline and her mother adopted her, Caroline had wiggled her way into Rosie's heart. The blonde's unwavering positivity introduced a sense of joy into Rosie's miserable life so she could never say no to the girl.

"You love me." Caroline retorted, lightly bumping her shoulder into Rosie's as they walked up the steps to the Lockwood mansion. Before they walked through the door, Caroline turned towards Rosie and readjusted the Irish, brunette's mask. "Remember, no causing fights. Just smile and be nice."

"Ugh, that's practically torture for me." Rosie slapped Caroline's hands away from her face and smiled mockingly at Caroline. "Go away and trick the cute little Kitty Kat."

"Sh!" Caroline squealed. "She might hear you!"

"Calm down, Care." Rosie grasped Caroline's hands with her own. "You can do this, okay? I believe in you." Letting go of her sister's hands, Rosie gently shoved Caroline towards the door. "Shoo."

The blonde smiled at her sister and walked into the house, making her way through the crowd.

Rosie let out a sigh as she stepped into the house, looking around for alcohol. Once spotting glasses filled with some random alcohol, she strolled over and picked up the nearest glass. She downed the content of the glass in one gulp and reached for another.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" A familiar voice taunted her.

Rosie spun round to meet Katherine's gaze. "Hey, Kathy." The were-witch grabbed another drink and presented it to the doppelganger. "Want a drink?"

The brunette secretly enjoyed the vampire doppelganger's company. Also, the vampire was exactly Rosie's type in woman; hot, brunette and dominating.

Katherine smirked at her and took the drink off her. "You look delicious, Rosie."

"Trying to seduce me again?" Rosie raised her eyebrows and took a sip from her drink.

The doppelganger took another step towards the were-witch, placing her hand on Rosie's waist. "It worked last time."

As much as the hybrid wanted to give in, she couldn't be bothered to deal with Damon screaming at her again for making out with Katherine.

Rosie brought her face closer to Katherine's, her lips ghosting over hers. "You know if I were to just..." Rosie lowered her face to the other brunette's neck, bringing a hand up to trace Katherine's collarbone. "bite you right here, you would die a slow and painful death."
