ROSIE AND CAROLINE QUICKLY GOT OUT OF ROSIE'S CAR and entered their house.

"Do you want to watch The Notebook with me?" Rosie asked, trying her best to discretely comfort her sister.

Caroline shook her head. "You don't need to baby me. I'm be fine."

"I'm not babying you, Care. If I was babying you, I would cradle you in my arms and sing you a lullaby."

Scoffing, Caroline walked away from Rosie and began to walk up the stairs.

  "Caroline."

The blonde stopped her ascent up the stairs and turned around to face Rosie. "What?"

"I'm sorry for what I said yesterday." Rosie apologised as she took a step towards her sister.

"You hurt my feelings, Rosie." Caroline confessed. "I don't understand what I did to make you act like that."

  "You didn't do anything, Care."

"Then why?" Care shouted before crossing her arms.

Rosie inhaled slowly. "I was having a rough day."

"A rough day doesn't excuse what you said."

"I'm sorry, Care but I wasn't in the mood to talk. I was just trying not to focus on how upset I was over Rose and I just wanted to hide in my room."

The blonde raised her eyebrows, confusion washing over her features. "I didn't know you and Rose were friends."

"We were. I took care of her after she was bitten." Rose looked down and frowned as she started thinking about Rose again.

Caroline pressed a hand against her mouth. "I'm so sorry, Rosie."

  "It's okay."

Caroline ran down the stairs and wrapped her arms around Rosie, hugging her tightly. "We were both bitches."

Rosie laughed while hugging Caroline back. "We were."

"If you're still offering, I'd love to watch The Notebook and maybe 10 Things I Hate About You too?"

Rolling her eyes and smirking, Rosie retorted, "I can never say no to Heath Ledger."

WALKING INTO THE KITCHEN TO GET SNACKS, Rosie furrowed her eyebrows as she watched Caroline slam the door shut on Tyler.

"Uh... What just happened?" Rosie asked, taking a step towards Caroline.

"I told him that we weren't friends anymore." The blonde replied with a sullen expression.

"He's a piece of shit, Care. He was never worthy of being your friend anyway."

"Thanks, 'Lee." The blonde smiled softly. "Um... anyway I need to go get a shower. I look disgusting."

Rosalee waved her hand in front of her nose before replying, "You smell it too."

Caroline chuckled and playfully shoved her sister, rolling her eyes. "Shut up."

"I'm sorry but you do!" Rosie exclaimed, laughing at Caroline's unimpressed expression. "Now go and shower, I need to prepare our food for the movie marathon."

The were-witch watched as her sister swiftly walked to the bathroom so she could clean the blood and dirt off her.

Her heart hurt when she thought back to what Caroline was forced to endure. Caroline was like a ray of sunshine and positivity who only wanted to make everyone happy. She didn't deserve to be tortured by vampire-hating werewolves.

The blonde was determined to help Tyler and in return he betrayed her and for that, Rosie would never forgive him. In fact, Rosie felt the urge to plunge her hand into his chest and rip his beating heart from his body but she knew that Caroline would not want that.

Forgiveness wasn't something Rosie believed in but Caroline did. So begrudgingly, Rosie had to accept that she wouldn't be able to hurt the new werewolf.

As Rosie entered the kitchen, her phone rang in her pocket. She lifted it out and read the caller's name. Stefan. Furrowing her eyebrows, Rosie wondered if something else had happened so she answered the call.

  "What's up, Stefano?"

Rosie could tell that Stefan was rolling his eyes at her nickname. "Hey, Rosie. I just wanted to check if Caroline was okay."

"She still seems upset but I'm going to put on a movie to try and cheer her up." The were-witch opened the cupboard so she could lift out the microwaveable popcorn.

"Is it okay if I send Elena and Bonnie over to help? I think it might be good to keep Caroline surrounded by her friends for a little."

Rosalee was shocked by Stefan's request. She knew that Stefan was a good, selfless person but she was happily surprised by his genuine interest in Caroline's well-being. "Yeah! That would be great, they could sleep over if they want to."

"Okay, thanks. I'll call Elena and let her know. Bye, Rosie." Stefan replied quickly, eager to call the girl he loved.

Rosie smirked to herself before replying, "Bye, bunny muncher."

"Oh no." The younger Salvatore brother sighed. "Damon's rubbing off on you."

"Oh, Stefan, I've always been this annoying." She teased.

"I think you might be getting more annoying as time goes by."

Rosie scoffed, pretending to be hurt by his comment. "Wow, Stefano. We are no longer friends." She joked before she hung up the phone and placed it down on the worktop.

"I'LL GET IT!" CAROLINE CALLED, rushing downstairs in her robe to answer the door.

Still in the kitchen, Rosie continued to prepare the food for all the girls. The were-witch listened to Caroline and Stefan talking until she heard Bonnie and Elena speak up. Hearing her friends, Rosie decided to leave the kitchen and stand in the living room.

"We're gonna slumber it!" The doppelganger announced, entering the Forbes' home.

Bonnie swiftly followed Elena inside. "We haven't done it in ages."

The two girls embraced Caroline tightly. Rosie heard her sister begin to cry at the comfort so she walked over as well and wrapped her arms around all three girls.

"Don't forget about me." Rosie chimed in, smiling widely as she heard her friends chuckle at her.

Looking up at Stefan, Rosie mouthed, Thanks.

The Salvatore vampire smiled and nodded in reply.

At that moment, Rosie felt content in her surroundings. She had her sister and her friends in her arms and nobody could take that away from her.
