ROSIE WAS SITTING ON SLATER'S SOFA and looking through a mythology book she had found on a table when Damon suddenly appeared beside her.

"Hello, Sabrina Spellman." The onyx-haired man's voice said, causing her to jump.

The were-witch placed a hand over her heart and took a deep breath out. "Jesus, Mary and Joseph. I think I nearly shat myself."

Damon gave her his iconic smirk and ripped her book out of her hand, closing it so he could look at the cover. "This book is boring and extremely inaccurate, don't read it." Then he threw it behind him carelessly.

"You've read it? Wait, you can read?" Rosie asked, pulling a shocked expression.

The male vampire rolled his eyes and then sped away, confusing Rosie but she just shrugged her shoulders and stood up to go look for another book.

She left the room and decided to explore Slater's house. The were-witch entered a room containing lots of papers and books. A diary caught her eye. It looked old and out of place from all of Slater's other stuff. Picking up the book, the girl inspected the diary, looking for the name of its owner. However, she couldn't find the name but instead found the year the diary's first entry was written; 1976.

From the other room, she heard Damon and Elena bickering. Something about him wanting her to go but Rosie didn't want to deal with watching the two argue so she ignored them and began to read the diary.

In my most recent prophecy, I saw that in many years to come, a girl with an abnormality will be born. This child will have both witchcraft and the curse of the moon. She will harness great power and if she is unable to control it, she will destroy us all. My sister believes that this girl is a danger to everyone and must be killed before she discovers the extent of her abilities. However, I disagree. I have tried to convince the other witches in my coven that this child may not be a danger but they will not listen to what I have to say and are now threatening to shun me. They have begun making plans to find this girl when she is born and kill her but I have decided that I will not let them do this. I am unsure of what I will do but I must stop them.

Rosie stood in shock, she couldn't believe what she had just read. Was this book talking about her?

Hearing Damon and Elena still arguing, Rosie held onto the diary and left the room to stop the argument from getting worse.

"When have I ever made a decision? You and Stefan do that for me. Now this, this is my decision." Elena said, standing weirdly close to the older Salvatore as Rosie walked into the room and leaned against one of the walls.

"Who's gonna save your life while you're out making decisions?" Damon answered back.

"You're not listening to me, Damon. I don't want to be saved." Elena's words caused Damon to furrow his eyebrows in confusion "Not if it means that Klaus is gonna kill every single person that I love."

Rosie watched as Damon's eyes softened for a second. "Get your ass out the door before I throw you over my shoulder and carry you out myself." Damon grasped onto Elena's upper arm tightly.

Elena tried to get out of his hold. "No." The doppelganger then threw a punch at the vampire but he caught her fist and held onto it.

The were-witch covered her mouth with her hand and whispered to herself, "This is getting exciting. What else did I miss?"

Elena let out a gasp as Damon leaned down and replied, "Don't ever do that again." Before letting go of her fist and walking away.

DAMON OPENED THE DOORS OF SLATER'S BEDROOM, he exited the room and announced to the girls who were all sitting silently beside each other, "Time to go. Alice is soundly sleeping and won't remember a moment of this horribly stupid day."

Suddenly three men burst into the room, causing the girls to stand up. The men walked towards them and said, "We're here to meet the doppelgänger and the girl."

"Thank you for coming." Elena tried to take a step forward but Damon stopped her.

"I will break your arm." The onyx-haired man whispered to her, hinting that she shouldn't try that again. Damon turned towards the three men again. "There's nothing here for you."

Abruptly, the man closest to the front door dropped dead, revealing Elijah who was standing behind him.

Elijah sped towards the two remaining men. He looked between them as Rose sped out the door, running away from the man who killed her closest friend.

"I killed you. You were dead." Damon noted, shocked that the vampire was somehow alive and in front of them.

"For centuries now." Elijah remarked before turning back to the two men. "Who are you?"

"Who are you?" One of the men, possibly Cody, asked.

"I'm Elijah." The vampire stated, causing the man's jaw to drop.

"We were gonna bring them to you. For Klaus." 'Cody' looked at the two girls before turning to face Elijah again. "She's the doppelgänger and the other one is the girl from the paintings. I don't know how the doppelganger exists, but she does. Klaus will want to see them, especially the girl."

"Does anyone else know that you're here?" Elijah calmly asked, already knowing everything that the man had said.

  "No."

Elijah smirked as he looked between the men again. "Well, then, you have been incredibly helpful." Suddenly, he ripped the men's hearts out and dropped them to the floor. Elena gasped and Rosie covered her mouth as she began to feel nauseous.

Damon took a step forward, ready to protect the girls but instead of attacking them, Elijah sped away. The dark-haired vampire turned around to look at the girls then looked at the door again, looking confused.

DAMON HAD DROPPED ROSIE HOME FIRST, Rosie knew that Damon probably wanted to have a little heart-to-heart with Elena about her stupidity that day but she didn't mind as all she wanted to do was sleep.

As soon as she got into her house and rushed up the stairs and into her room, throwing herself onto her bed. She let out a deep breath as she ran a hand over her face. Rosie didn't know what to do. Elena, her friend who she thought would never put her in any danger, was willing to let Klaus get ahold of her. Rosie didn't know what this mysterious Klaus wanted from her but she was sure as hell not going to let him kill her.
