ROSIE PRACTICALLY RAN OUT OF THE TOMB. All she wanted was to get her and Elena the hell out of there. She saw Elena pacing back and forth as she approached the entrance. Elena immediately wrapped her arms around the were-witch as soon as she saw her exit the tomb.

"Why the hell did you do that, Rosie? She could have killed you." Elena said as she held Rosie tight.

"I think you might kill me if you squeeze me any harder, 'Lena." Rosalee joked in reply. "And don't worry, she can't kill me."

The human doppelganger released Rosie from her grasp and pulled back to give her a confused look. "What do you mean?"

"Do you remember Rose telling Trevor not to hurt me?"

  Elena nodded. "Yeah."

"Apparently, Katherine can't hurt me either unless she wants to piss off Klaus."

Furrowing her eyebrows, the doppelganger tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears before she asked Rosie, "What? What do you mean piss off Klaus?"

"Katherine told me he has been looking for me for some reason and he wants me unharmed. I think it's why Elijah wanted me too; to give me to Klaus."

Just as Elena was about to reply, Stefan marched down the stairs and called out to Elena.

"Stefan, what are you doing here?" Elena questioned, unsure of how he knew she was there.

Stefan looked into the tomb before answering her. "I could ask you the same question."

Rosie looked between the two of them and declared, "I guess this is my sign to go."

The younger Salvatore brother turned to Rosie and asked, "What are you doing here, Rosie?"

Instead of giving him an answer, she yelled, "Bye! Talk to you later!" And speed walked out of the tomb, leaving Stefan and Elena to bicker.

ROSIE BEGAN TO MAKE HER WAY HOME after her long day of doing nothing but listening to two doppelgangers talk, which meant that her head was pounding.

The were-witch opened her front door and removed her shoes, throwing them down beside the door haphazardly. Rosie walked to her kitchen, flinging open her fridge and cupboards to grab ingredients for her dinner.

In the Forbes household, Rosie was the designated cook. Liz burnt everything she tried to make while Caroline nearly burnt down the kitchen when she tried to boil rice. To be honest, Rosie definitely wasn't the most amazing cook in the world but her food was reasonably good and kept everyone fed. And sometimes when she messed up the food, she would secretly buy frozen food, heat it up and claim she made it herself.

Deciding on making spaghetti bolognese, Rosie placed the ingredients down on the kitchen worktop and got to work.

Twenty minutes later as she was checking the pasta in her pot, she heard Caroline enter the house. It was easy to identify Caroline as she marched around the house in her loud high heels and usually began talking the second she walked into a room.

As she stirred the pot, Rosie's blonde sister barged into the kitchen, jumped up and sat on the worktop then launched into a rant about her day.

"Remember when Elena told me to cover for her? Yeah, well it didn't go to plan just like I said it wouldn't. I distracted him for a little bit but then he somehow caught on and asked me if we were really friends. He totally guilt-tripped me! And I nearly gave in because why wouldn't I? But I remembered that I had promised Elena and I couldn't because I don't break girl code." The blonde exclaimed, without taking a breath she continued. "How was your day with Katherine? Did she try to hurt you? Make any moves? Seduce you again?"

Rosie rolled her eyes at her sister and turned to face her. "Ha ha. So funny, Care."

  "Did she?"

"No. She looked a little too dead for my taste." The hybrid answered, turning back so she could stir her other pot filled with the mince and sauce.

"What did she do then?" Caroline asked as she reached forward, trying to grab a piece of spaghetti from the pot.

Rosie slapped her hand away and instead opened a drawer, grabbed a fork and gave it to Caroline. The vampire rolled her eyes but used the fork to grab the piece of spaghetti. "She told us about her backstory and a little bit about Klaus."

  "What about him?"

"That he tried to use Katherine in the sacrifice but she decided to turn into a vampire to run away from him. Now he wants Elena for the sacrifice. And she also told me why she turned you."

  Caroline's eyes widened. "Why?"

"The sacrifice has crucial ingredients apparently; a doppelganger, a moonstone, a vampire, a werewolf and a witch."

Caroline shrieked, causing Rosie to turn to her, and jumped off the worktop so she could properly look at her sister. "She wanted to use me in the sacrifice?"

  "Yeah."

"I don't understand. Why did she make Tyler activate his curse if you are here? Is it because you are half werewolf half witch?" The blonde questioned, wondering the same thing that Rosie did an hour ago.

Rosie shook her head, turning back to her sauce and pasta. "No, she wants me for something else."

  "What then? Freaky lesbian sex?"

The were-witch let out a laugh at her sister's comment. "No, Care. She wants to use me as a bargaining tool for her freedom from Klaus."

"A bargaining tool? What does that mean?"

"Care, it means he wants me. Apparently, he has been looking for me for over a thousand years and Kathy said he would do anything to get a hold of me."

The blonde vampire grabbed her sister's arm, forcing Rosie to look at her. "He's been looking for you for a thousand years? That makes no sense, Rosie! Clearly, Katherine was lying to you."

Rosalee shook her head at her sister. "Caroline, I could tell she wasn't and even if she was, why did Rose and Trevor take me? What did Elijah want from me then?"

"I won't let him take you, Rosie." Care reassured, not letting go of her sister's arm. The blonde was afraid of what would happen if she let go. She couldn't deal with losing her. Losing Rosie was like losing her best and closest friend and sister.

Rosie placed her hand over Caroline's. "We'll be okay, Care Bear. Now go sit down, get ready for the best spaghetti bolognese you will ever eat."

"You mean most mediocre?" Caroline joked, moving to sit down at their dinner table.

As soon as Caroline took a seat, she felt a piece of spaghetti smack her on the forehead.

  "Rude!"
