Hajime woke up on a carpeted wooden floor, his head feeling like it'd been split open as the ceiling above drifted around a little bit. Someone stirred under his leg, and when the person raised themselves from the ground, a ball of messy, white hair showed itself. Nagito looked at Hajime with dull, green eyes. Nagito opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, the door to the wooden building opened, revealing Chiaki, a short girl with pink eyes, dressed in a blue hoodie. Right now, those sleepy pink eyes shot sparks at everyone in the room. ''I can't believe you guys!'' she mumbled louder than usual, ''Your first week here, and you're already passed out on the floor.''

A bang could be heard from Hajime's right, and when he craned his neck over, he saw Byakuya crawling out from under a long table at the back of the room. ''It certainly... wasn't preferrable,'' the table's resident mumbled as he rubbed his head, ''But I couldn't handle these imbeciles while they were drooling all over everything.''

Ibuki crawled out from under the same table. Her eyes drifted to Byakuya, she smirked, and cheered: ''Yahoo! Let's do that again today!''

Chiaki shook her head as she stepped into the room. ''No, let's not do that again. All of you are underage, you shouldn't be drinking.''

Ibuki stuck out her tongue at Chiaki. ''You're no fun!''

A scream of head-splitting pain rang through the room as Gundham finally awoke. ''The Hellhound Earring!'' He exclaimed as he held his fingers to his right earlobe, ''Where did it disappear to?!'' The earring wasn't the most important thing for Gundham to worry about, Hajime found himself thinking annoyedly, his face was covered in lipstick marks.

Sonia, who had been sleeping next to the breeder, woke up yawning, the lipstick on her lips the same colour as on Gundham's face. The red was smudged over her lips. ''What a swell night,'' she spoke, ''I slept like a baby.''

Chiaki ordered everyone to clean up the dining hall, and with tired, hungover faces, class 77-B proceeded to make everything neat and tidy again. Except for Gundham. He was on a mission to find his missing earring, wherever that might be. Hajime huffed as he broomed shards of broken glass into the dustpan. He spotted something moving beneath the floorboards. The fancy carpet in the hall didn't cover the entire floor, and the gaps between the floorboards were just wide enough for a meat skewer to fit through.

''Aha, I've got it!'' Gundham's voice rang beneath the floorboards.

''You found your earring?'' Hajime asked in feigned interest.

''Naturally,'' Gundham answered, ''And... I found this paper, it appears to have an inscription on it.'' He reached it upwards and slipped it between the floorboards to the first floor, where Hajime took it.

''Well, then,'' he mumbled as he unfolded the paper, ''Let's see what this says...'' The handwriting on it was messy and slanted upwards on the blank A4 sheet of paper, but Hajime slowly started to make out the words written in blue pen. ''By day, they avoid each other, but by night, Ibuki frolics in Peko's lily garden.'' Hajime frowned and tilted his head. Was this a rumour written down by someone? Neither of them had a lily garden... was it a secret code or something? He kept reading. ''The night was sweet as the two stayed in bed together, a layer of sweat on their bare skin, panting-'' ''What the fuck?!'' Hajime exclaimed, his eyes were forced down the page by horror and curiosity. ''And they would always hold each other so tightly as the climax was near, it was almost out of character how Peko would caress Ibuki's cheeks with her warm fingers, and how Ibuki would be almost quiet, as if, in an upside-down world, only silence would express the pleasure she was feeling.''

''So me and Peko, huh?'' Hajime physically startled as he heard Ibuki's voice right behind him. She pulled the piece of paper from Hajime's hands and started reading it for herself. Hajime started fidgeting with his hands as more and more people started gathering around Ibuki to try to read what was on the piece of paper.
