It was the following morning. The weather on Jabberwock Island had returned to its usual temperament and class 77-B was talking up a storm in the dining room. Hajime sat together with Chiaki and Kazuichi, as always, because he liked sitting next to Chiaki, and because Kazuichi seemed adamant on annoying Hajime from dusk 'till dawn. It had become the guy's full time job, Hajime caught himself thinking. However, their breakfast had gained an unexpected guest: Gundham sat himself at their table, nonchalant as ever, and started eating quietly. Kazuichi's head shot up, he looked at Chiaki, then at Hajime, the expression on his face looked offended, with furrowed brows, as if he was thinking: ''Can you believe this guy?'' He then turned to Gundham, and squeaked: ''Shouldn't you be sitting somewhere else?''

''I'm the Supreme Overlord of Ice, I sit wherever I desire.''

''Y- Yeah, but really... Do you belong here?''

Gundham glanced up from his Miso soup. ''An angel-demon halfling is expected not to belong anywhere... especially not with lowly humans like you.''

Hajime cleared his throat. ''Why did you choose to sit with us?'' He asked, ''If we're lowly like you say we are.''

''This table called upon my power,'' he growled, ''The moment I walked in, I heard it crying out for my help. This was the call of destiny, that today, I had to sit here. That you humans are sitting at the same table doesn't interest me a single bit!''

Chiaki looked up from her white rice. ''So you wanted to befriend us?''

''Kh!'' Gundham backed away, wide-eyed. Seemed like Chiaki was right on the money. ''I walk among humans, so it would be natural for me to be cursed with human wishes. You are pack animals, after all.''

''You could've just told us,'' Hajime croaked, ''No need to hide it. There's no shame in wanting to make friends.''

''Hell no!'' Kazuichi exclaimed, ''I don't wanna be friends with you. You're a freak!''

Gundham stirred his soup, a small crease appearing between his eyebrows. ''And what would you know about freaks, Kazuichi? The Golden Mechanic could belong to this world's most freakishly alien organisms, and he wouldn't even realise it himself.''

Kazuichi glanced over at Hajime. ''Did he just call me weird?''

Hajime shrugged. With Gundham, it was often very difficult to understand what he truly meant. ''He also called you weak,'' Chiaki added, ''Gold is a very soft metal.''

Gundham crossed his arms. ''It seems I must watch out for you, Sleepy Bunny of the East. You seem to have the power to read minds. All of you must watch out for what you think around her, otherwise, she might uncover your darkest secrets.''

''See?'' Kazuichi exclaimed, ''He's nuts!''

At that moment, a commotion stirred in the dining hall as Ibuki stood on one of the tables. ''No, you badly-dressed bitch! Get down from there before you step in my food!'' Hiyoko screamed.

''P- Please, get down, you might fall!'' Mikan urged.

''Ibuki, standing on the tables is bad dinner etiquette!'' Byakuya commanded, ''Step down right now!''

''Byakuya is right, you should climb down!'' Marihu urged.

''Don't worry about Ibuki!'' Ibuki cheered, ''I've just had the most awesome, rockin' idea!''

''You can share it with us once you've climbed down!'' Nekomaru exclaimed.

''I can see up her skirt,'' Teruteru swooned.

''It's gonna go down tonight at eight P.M.!'' Ibuki continued, ''We're gonna have a massive party at the Titty Typhoon! Everyone is invited! Scratch that, everyone has to come! We'll be doing preparations today, and tonight, it's gonna go down!''
