''A what?!'' Marihu and Hajime exclaimed in unison.

''Yeah, look,'' Kazuichi said as he handed Hajime the piece of paper, ''It's about a guy, this time.''

With sweaty hands, Hajime received the paper, and Marihu looked over his shoulder as he read: ''Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu always liked it when he had some time to play with himself. He sighed contentedly as he took off his clothes and exposed-'' Hajime covered his eyes. He didn't need that mental picture. Marihu stole the piece of paper away from him and read, with furrowed brows. ''What's a butt plug?'' She asked.

Kazuichi chuckled. ''It's a-''

''You're not explaining that to her,'' Hajime urged. He then turned to Marihu. ''We have to find out who wrote this, or sweep it under the rug. Otherwise, Usami will be angry with us.''

Marihu nodded. ''You're right. The beach day was her idea, and I don't want this fiction to ruin all my hard work. But, we can't tear it up and throw it away, Usami does all the maintenance on the island, she'd notice this in the trash can.''

''Seeing as she'd managed to take pictures of us without us even knowing, I wouldn't say it's much of a stretch to say she already knows. Let's just get this over with quickly, with as little people informed as possible. There's only one person we really need to solve this case.''

''One person? Who?''

''Chiaki,'' Hajime muttered, ''She's really good at this sort of stuff. I'm sure she's finished Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton, so it wouldn't be wrong to count on her.''

''Good idea, go get Chiaki. Kazuichi and I will keep watch here.''

''We will?'' Kazuichi asked.

''Yes, I can't have you spreading this around.''

After Chiaki was brought in, she read over the fiction, and muttered: ''I think I already know who it might be, but just to be sure, let's narrow it down. When was the last time someone's been in the storage closet, before the discovery?''

Marihu raised her hand. ''This morning, before anyone else was here. I fell asleep, though, so the author must've snuck past me and planted it during that time.''

''Everyone was in the dining hall until noon,'' Hajime reasoned, ''A few people went to the toilets, but those are only accessible via the dining hall, so they definitely had an alibi. The only people who left early were the people who are on the beach right now.''

''Nekomaru, Akane, Peko and Sonia,'' Marihu breathed, ''One of them did it?''

Kazuichi put his index finger to his chin and smirked. ''Wow, imagine one of the girls, sitting in their cottage, writing this... We can rule out Miss Sonia, she'd never write something like this.''

''We might want to narrow it down further,'' Hajime said, ''To those who might've been able to carry it with them.''

''Everyone was wearing bathing suits,'' Marihu exclaimed, ''How would any of them have been able to carry it without anyone noticing?!''

''Akane definitely wouldn't have been able to carry it with her,'' Hajime reasoned, thinking back at the skimpy 'bikini' Akane was wearing: it barely even covered her private parts.

''I'm wearing the same swim shorts as Nekomaru,'' Kazuichi said, ''It doesn't have pockets, so I don't think it was him, either...''

Chiaki put her index finger against her chin. ''Theoretically, Sonia could've kept it in her wetsuit, and although Peko was wearing a bikini, she had her bamboo sword with her...''

''Are you saying she could've kept it in the holster?'' Hajime asked.

''Yes, but I'm not sure yet.''

Then, Fuyuhiko walked into the beachhouse. Marihu quickly hid the fiction behind her back. ''There you are, Marihu,'' Fuyuhiko grunted, ''See? I'm here! I'm wasting my time with this bullshit! Are you happy now?!''
