Entramurals came to an End.

The seniors celebration continues for a few days as they took the over all champions.

We got a 1 day break to rest before coming back to school to focus on our studies since midterms are just around the corner.

I decided to talk to Juno when I got back to school instead of calling or texting her. I was distracted for a few days after the talk with my dad that I wasn't able to contact anyone. In what we were doing this whole time, everything sinks in. This might lead us to our downfall and I am not really ready with that.

"Hey, you're spacing out." Lehm tapped my shoulder getting me back to earth

"Uhh.. Sorry. I was just sleepy." I replied as I adjust my sight

Shoot. I was thinking 'bout the rumors that some teachers was discussing last time about Juno. Damn it. And now we're almost gonna be at her class. For God's sake, I'm not ready to face her yet.

As if the bell read my mind, it rang signaling the end of the first period. I lazily grabbed my bag and followed Lehm at the corridor. Lehm ws blabbling some things bout the video game he purchase the other night but I can't seem to focus on that. We got to Juno's classroom but she was not there to be found.

It's been 15minutes starting the period but Juno is still not here. My concern grew every minute so I grabbed my phone and about to call her but she suddenly appeared on the door.

"Sorry I was late class. I just had a meeting." Juno stated as she reached her table

She started the class not making any eye contact with me. I'm becoming impatient as I waited for the bell. I needed to talk to her, inform her about the rumors and give her my apologies for making her mad last time and not contacting her on our rest day.

As the class ended, I told Lehm to just wait for me at the cafeteria making him nod without asking any questions.

I lazily packed my things so I can exit as the last person in the room. I can feel Juno's eyes as I clean my table. When I turned to her, she quickly look down on her papers.

All students was out of the door making me walk closer to Juno's table.

"Miss. About the last time. . . " I was about to apologies when she raised her hand gesturing for me to stop

"Nessa. I have a lot in mind right now. Can we not talk about it?" She exclaimed exhausedly

"Umm. Okay, I just wanted to apologies." I responded feeling a bit sad

"It's alright. No worries." She added forcing a smile

I nodded in surprise that she's not mad at me.

"But before you go, can I ask you a favor?" She voiced out making me nod again

"Can we avoid each other for now?" She asked making me bewildered

"What, why?" I quickly responded

"It's just. No-nothing." She exclaimed making me anxious

"Please tell me, is there a problem?" I asked getting worried

"Just. Just leave me alone for now." She muttered

I released a deep breathe as frustrations filled me up.

"Is it because of the rumors?" I asked a bit agitated

She opened her eyes taken a back by my question.

"Wow. So the rumors are already spreading." She whispered and on a verge of crying

My frustrations instantly vanished as my concern grew seeing her so devastated.

"Hey. Miss, please don't think to much about it." I exclaimed not sure how to make her feel anything better

"I was with the principal today because of that rumors. The teachers are also talking behind my back and now all of the students probably knew about that too, so how can I not think to much about it? My career is on the line Nessa." She bursts out

I kept silent for a while. The guilt I was feeling overwhelms my whole body. This is my fault. I should have avoided her from the very start, now she's suffering because of me.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you mad. It's all my fault." I breathe out

Silence filled the room as she focus her gaze on the table. I slowly walk towards the door and finally made my exit.

"Everything will be alright soon. You are strong." I voiced out before walking off

I sat down next to Lehm as we eat our lunch. I can't seem to shoo away the guilt I've been feeling.

"I don't wanna mention it, but it seems you already knew." Lehm mentioned making me anxious

"About what?" I asked as I put down my cuttlery

"The rumors, that Juno is dating a student." He explained

"So it has been circulating around the campus?" I asked in disbelief

"Probably. Just heard it this morning. Umm. Do you have any idea who it came from?" Lehm responded

"I heard thru the teachers at Entrams. They're probably envious of her." I muttered

"So what do you do now?" He asked staring down on his food

"We're gonna avoid each other for now and I don't know." I sighed

Lehm nodded before patting my back to comfort me.

The week seems getting faster as days passed quickly. The rumors didn't die out  as it can still be heard around the students talking to the hallway, cafeteria, even in our class. I'm having a bad day every single day.

I've been thinking what to do for days and I decided to take an action. I've done contemplating, it's now or never.

I knocked on the faculty office and gently open the door. Most of the teachers are there since it's still noon.

"Ow hey Nessa, what can I do for you?" Ruby announced as everyone in the room took a glanced at me

Ruby is the Principal's assistant which has been here for years. She's around mid 30's I think. She used to visit our home every ocassion so I'm quite close to her.

"Good day Miss Ruby. Can I talk to the principal?" I asked sheepishly

"Yes ofcourse Honey. Follow me." She responded smiling genuinely at me

I followed right behind her as she approached the Principal's office. I caught a glimpse of Juno at her table but I can't see what her face looks like since I'm not directly looking at her.

The door opened and I thank Ruby before entering the room. She stayed out and close the door behind me where I walk slowly inside. The Principal eyed me from his chair a bit surprised to see me.
