Weeks passed like a flash.

When you are happy, time passed really quickly, but when you're lonely, a minute is like an eternity.

...

Lehm and I are now walking through the school garden in our free hour.

"So tell me what's up with you two. " he stopped as we found a seat

"Who are you talking about? " I sat next to him giving him a blank look

"You know,  Lily collins! " he said with so much sarcasm in his voice

"Ohh, She still doesn't know I exist. " I countered giggling

He eyed me seriously this time.

"I'm talking about the Chief Roman Goddess who teaches English you know. " He uttered

"The chief what?."I asked raising my eyebrows

"You don't know roman or greek mythology?"

"No? " I answered a bit confused

"God. Please do your research. It's Juno, Juno is the Chief Roman Goddess." he explained

"Ow. Wow, I'm really dumb huh." I said while laughing

I stayed silent for a minute trying to unravel my thoughts.

"Umm.. But why do you suddenly asked though? " I now eyed him

"Well, I know you better than yourself Nessa. I just want to make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. " he said putting his hands in his pockets

I nodded grinning a bit. I really can't hide anything to my bestfriend.

He waited for me to speak until I heard him sigh.

"Aww.  My bestfriend is so cute when jealous!" I teased

"Jealous your ass! " he retorted shaking his head

I smiled feeling the breeze hitting my body and ponder a bit.

"I don't actually know what's going on. " I muttered sighing

"But I'm happy." I smiled making Lehm also smile

"It's confusing. She's entertaining me like she knows I'm into her but, the way she reply, I can't tell what she really wants. I don't know. I just don't want this to end." I added now looking at the sky

"You're really happy huh! " Lehm asked

"Yeah. She's making me feel something I really like. Like I'm walking on air. I'm feeling so light." I replied

Lhem nodded. He probably understand that i can't really explain what we are to each other. This is what I like about my bestfriend, he never tries to make me uncomfortable. He always understand and I'm really glad he's here for me.

After some time a question lights up in my head.

How?

How did Lhem knows?

I mean, we never talk to each other on class. She's not even calling me on recitations. So how?

"Hey, how did you know there's something going on? " I asked looking him straight on the eye

I heard him laugh like I have said the greatest joke in a long time.

"Are you serious? You two are way too abvious! " he shaked his head

"No we're not! " I answered back

"Na ah! You two always steal glances to each other inside the room.  You sometimes text each other when no one's looking like as if I won't notice. I'm beside you at her class.  And the best part, you aced all of the test and quiz lately. That means you're studying. Nessa is studying!" he overly elaborated which made me chuckle

I actually did study in English this time to impress her. I even got 95 in her latest exam. See her impact on me?

"And the way she looks at you is just I guess different from the way she plainly looks at us." he added his hands on his chin

"Are we that obvious? Do our classmates notice?? " I asked a bit anxious

"Not really, I'm just good at observing people. And by the way,  I may read or may not read your English diary. " he said suppressing his laugh

I looked at him in horror.

"She required us to write our diary everyday, but all I had in return is a big red check." he added

"Ofcourse, what do you expect? An X?" I replied with sarcasm

"So what about yours? Why does it have so many comments on it? She replied in like every sentence and obviously flirting.  What is she 10??" he snapped looking at me

I was about to get mad at him for reading my diary but just laugh at his remarks.

"Yeah.. She's really cute right?" I said smiling to myself thinking about her replies

She even wrote about two pages in the back of my diary and my stomach made a churn thinking about that. I feel special reading her long message and she even had a drawing in the background.

"Okey! Stop smiling!!  You look like an idiot! " he exclaimed snapping me out of my thoughts

"I can't help it." I slapped his shoulder hiding my blushing face

"Okay, don't wanna change the mood but how about Mariah?? " Lehm voiced out

"How about her?? " I asked confused

"Ain't she your first crush or something?"

"Umm. Is she? I don't know." I exclaimed scratching my head

"What are you, a playgirl now? " Lhem said obviously done

"No. That's not what I meant. I mean,
I can't deny the fact that I still admire her. But I'm not into her anymore. And Juno, she's different. The feeling is diferrent" I confessed

"Hmmm" Lhem nodded with a bit suspicious tone

"What? " I asked

I know there's something he wants to tell me.

" It's About Patty." Lhem mouthed

It made me raise my eyebrows gesturing for him to continue.

"I heard she's being attentive to your girl. " he added

"What do you mean? . " I voiced out

"Miss Juno. " he said searching for my reaction

"Wha-what? " I stuttered a bit in high pitched voice

"YEah.  I heard it from her group. She likes her. " he added

"This again?? What the hell does she really wants? " I said a bit angry this time

"Patty may not know you two had something,  so please chill a bit. " he said calming me down

"I heard Patty's mom is kinda close to Miss Juno and she has a crush on her since Elementary or something. " Lehm explained

"So they knew each other? Juno never mentions that. " I sighed

"Ohhh..  So you're on first name basis now?" he teased

I shrugged my shoulders still in a foul mood

"I don't think your Juno notices her though.  The way she interacts with Patty is just so professional. " He assured me

I nodded not knowing what to say as the bell rang to inform us that class was about to start.
