"Nessa."

Our school principal exclaimed as he made his way out from his chair

"Hey. Uncle. Good to see you." I greeted as I kissed his cheek

Yep. The principal is the older brother of my Dad.

He placed his hand on my head and slightly ruined my hair. We're actually close but I didn't want the entire school to know that we are related so I never came to greet him in public.

"So what brought you here." My uncle asked as he get back to his chair

I slowly sat down to one of the chairs infront of his table before clearing my throat.

"Well, I have a favor to ask you Uncle." I muttered as I scratched my head

"That's the first. What is it?" He asked curious about my response

"Well, It's about. Umm.. That, This week has been stressing me out. I mean, I never thought I would have a favorite teacher. Umm.. Right now, she's having a bit of trouble about something she never did. I really want to help her, you know. I hope you can protect her or something." I voiced out while looking at my lap

"Oh." My uncle responded making me look at him

I blinked twice guessing what he meant with that 'oh.

"So you have a favorite teacher. Is this teacher name sounds like Juno?" He asked teasing me

I got embarrassed hearing his tone as if he meant more than what he said.

"Will you help her please. All the rumors is annoying me." I muttered hiding my flustered face

"Ofcourse. How can I refuse when my niece who couldn't care less to anything suddenly wanted to ask a favor." He responded making me whine

"Stop it please."

He laugh loudly making me pout. After some time he then leans in to his chair.

"You don't need to worry about that. I never believed on such rumors. Teacher Juno is probably young but she would not do something like that." He explained

"But, the rumors. It's not dying. Even some teachers are believing it." I said in low spirit

"Is that so? Well you can trust me. Tomorrow, I'll do something about it. But if you want to see it happen, then you shouldn't be late." My uncle challenged me

"Okay. Thankyou my favorite Uncle. I'll see you tomorrow then. I won't be late just for tomorrow." I excitedly exclaimed

"Just tomorrow? Geez, you never change. But since I'm your favorite uncle, I will let you off this time." He responded squeezing my cheek

I laugh & hugged him as I bid my goodbye.

I then went out of his room and noticed that everyone is staring at me as if I'm a ghost or something.

I suddenly got chills that I can't move from my spot. Ruby saw me feeling uncomfortable so she grabbed my hand.

"Nessa, I'm glad you visited your Uncle. He's been stressed out lately you know. We all can hear his laugh earlier, you should visit him from time to time." She said out loud making me more embarrassed

Everyone avoided my gaze as we both walk out the room slowly.

"You shouldn't said that. Now everyone knows I'm related to the principal." I said as she closed the door of the faculty

"I did that on purpose. You know, teachers here like to spread some rumors. They might spread something like 'you're your uncle's mistress' or some flirt. Just to be clear. And you should like that, the teachers will be wary of you. You'll become their favorite." She explained while winking at me
