I never experienced having trouble on a subject before. I never imagine myself being so nervous just by entering a room. And it's been weeks. How can she affect me this much?

Miss Juno, just what are you?

Every meeting with Miss Juno is awkward. I always find myself focusing on her instead of the lecture.

"Okay class, We'll be having a quiz today. " Miss Juno announced out of nowhere

I panicked hearing her. What was the topic yesterday?? Or the day before that?? Ohh no,  I'm fuckin' in trouble.

I scanned the test paper in my desk.
It's just English, I can answer this. I said trying to convince myself.

Why the hell would she give a surprise quiz??
We just had our test lastweek.

"Tsk! " I sighed and looked at her unconsciously

I was so surprised when her eyes meets mine. She averted her gaze quickly to her papers and started writing. She's probably checking the test lastweek.

Wait. Wait now! She was looking at me right?
I caught her looking at me!!!

I smiled widely to myself but then frowned when I realized she probably was just checking if someone tries to cheat.

I was having trouble answering the test. Geez, I'm having a bad day.

After handing the last paper, Miss Juno dismissed us early.

I was about to head out when I heard her calling my name.

"Miss Cassidy, can you stay for a minute. " she said while looking through her papers.

Ohh noo. I froze on my feet gulping hard.

Lehm pinch my shoulder showing me his grin.

"I'll wait for you at the Cafeteria." he said with teasing tone before he disappeared at the door

I gave him my signature dagger look then walked slowly at the nearest desk.

Mariah is the last one to walk out. But before she reached the door, she looked at me with those unreadable expression again.

I didn't have the chance to respond as she immediately walks off.

Miss Juno cleared her throat to get my attention after probably grading our work.

"Am I in trouble Ma'am? " I ask nervously

I can feel my palm sweating. God, don't let me hyperventilate in front of her please.

I don't know if it's because I think I'm in trouble or is it the mere fact that we're alone in this room. Is this why I'm slightly trembling?

"No, you're not Ms. Cassidy, I just want to ask something. " she said looking me dead in the eye

"Do you have any problem?? At home or at school?"

She looks so serious which made me so confuse.

"Why all of the sudden ma'am??" I asked tilting my head

"Well, You're not paying attention in class and You always spaces out. You also failed your test lastweek." she explained

I already know I failed the test last week. So it's not a surprise anymore.

"You know you can tell me what's bothering you. " she said with worried look

How the hell can I tell her what's bothering me when she's the reason for it?
