I locked my phone and ignored the new video Felix had just posted. It can wait, I thought, but so can Adam.
"Where were we?" I hugged him tight again, but he didn't hug me back. I knew something was wrong, but I chose not to ask him what. I didn't want to stress my man out.
"We weren't really talking about anything.." He pauses, "Anyway, so how was 6 months without me?"
"One hell of a year.. I can't even describe it," I take the time to think, "It felt so much like a plant longing for rain in the middle of drought, you know?"
"Such a cute example. And, I've only been gone for 6 months. Not a year."
"Every minute without you is already a year with me. What more is 6 months?
He cups my cheek and gives me a quick kiss. "Damn, I did miss you."
"Me too."
