QUINN'S POV

I woke up at 5 am in the morning just to get ready to look good for Geo, i have the biggest crush on him and he's been giving me mixed signals but I'll shoot my shot because why not. I got ready for an hour and still managed to run in order to not miss my bus to school, let's skip this part because it's quite boring. The moment I arrived to school, I went to the classroom and put my bag down as I waited for Geo's arrival, my friend, Kate has always been supportive and she always hyped me up. I told her about my plans on confessing my feelings to Geo. After the long wait, classes started and Geo hasn't arrived but I was very patient and turns out he's late for class and so I had to wait till break to tell him how I feel.

Finally break came, I went up to Geo and his friends and asked him if we could talk in private and to my surprise he didn't respond so i jokingly punched his arm and told him that it's really urgent.

"dude come on just talk to me for a minute i really have something important to tell you" I said to him

"okay fine follow me" he replied

I did follow him and we talked, this was my moment of truth I had to tell him how I really felt

"Geo, i really like you and i know this is really sudden but i hope this doesn't ruin our friendship"

"Man, i'm really shocked but i don't like you that way sorry dude" he replied

"Wait but why? you've been giving me mixed signals what's your deal?" i asked

"I have a girlfriend and we're in 9th grade what do you expect? it's all fun and games Q so get over it" he replied and walked away

My heart shattered after he said that, I didn't know what to do, I ran to Kate and told her what happened, she comforted me and told me that it will pass someday, I just have to wait and the right man will come. Weeks passed and Geo stopped talking to me and even blocked me on social media, I always wondered why he had to do all those harsh things to me when I didn't even bother him guess it was the end of our friendship and I fucked up. Again

To cut the story short every guy I liked ended up rejecting me or blocking me on social media and I kinda got tired so I decided to just move on with life. I spent time with Kate until she had to move to a different school.

A year later, I was finally in 10th grade and I actually met new friends. Ashley was one of the greatest people i've ever met, he's very kind and jolly and we had the same interests. I also met Liz who was a very quiet person in class, however when she was with Ash and I, she becomes this super fun and not so quiet person.

"hi is this seat taken?"

"no, go ahead sit down" i replied to the tall boy who was wearing a very long coat on a warm day

"thanks, i'm Herold by the way, you're Quinn right?" he asked

"no problem, yeah i'm Quinn, how did you know?" seriously how the fuck did he know me

"we're facebook friends and i see your posts a lot, you seem very heartbroken and i totally get why" he smirked

"what's that supposed to mean asshole?" i asked playfully punching his arm

"look at you and you're attitude and on top of that the way you talk is not helping" he replied

"ah, i see you're very honest i like that let's be friends Herold" i smiled

"that's great i gained a friend on my first day as a new student" Herold said in a very sarcastic tone

"stop it you're really blowing me off this time" i raised a brow

"wow you really are a moody girl" he smirked

"shut up" i replied playfully punching his arm

After class I invited Herold to come join Ash, Liz and I for lunch, we had a pretty good time. Everytime I saw Geo, Herold would tease me and laugh it out which kinda helped me, I guess it was my coping mechanism.

"you know what, you should really get over Geo, he sucks anyways"

"what do you know Herold? you've never been in love" i replied

"Quinn, Herold is right, Geo is no good for you" Ashley cut in and patted my back

"I agree with them, you really need to get over Geo" Liz replied

Maybe they were right, I need to move on with my life, Geo is no good for me and he sucks anyways, all he ever did was play with my feelings.

Days went by and I spent more time with my friends, we went out and watched some movies and had sleepovers, Herold was too shy to join the sleepovers but we kept in touch every time we did. I was slowly moving on from Geo and it felt great. My friends were very supportive and they always had my back. Until the moment we finished 10th grade, we were going strong, never had a single fight though i always had a love-hate friendship with Herold cause he liked to joked around. Eventually, my parents decided to transfer me to a different school for some reason and I actually agreed because I needed a new environment. I still kept in touch with my friends despite moving to a different school. When this school year ended, I promised myself to never fall for anyone so quickly ever again. I did learn from my mistakes and this time I actually wanted to focus on myself and my dreams.

It was Quinn's first day at her new school and she was quite nervous since it's going to be a very fresh start, she didn't know anyone. She ate breakfast out and decided to facetime Herold who was the only available friend at that time.

*FACETIME*
Herold: what's your deal, it's 6 am in the morning
Quinn: um its literally my first day in school and i am terrified what if these kids hate me or something
Herold: who cares you'll probably hate them back anyways
Quinn: shut up you're not helping
Herold: whatever, you can do it bye i gotta go back to sleep

Herold hung up
*END*

"That jerk" Quinn thought to herself as she sipped on her coffee and ate her breakfast. After eating her meal, she immediately got up and walked to school. She went straight to he classroom in hopes that she'd meet new friends.
