"Did you get the notes in Alchemy?" Luna asked. We were both sitting in the common room studying. "Yeah, they're right here." I handed her a stack of six papers. "When's dinner?" I needed a break from studying. We've literally been studying for three hours. But when you go to Hogwarts, studying is everything. "Dinner is in fifteen minutes." She started copying then notes. I'm starving, I thought.

"Hey this Saturday, do you want to go to Hogsmeade? And buy some stuff from Zonkos, and go to The Three Broomsticks?" Luna looked up at me "Sure, that sounds fun." It was so easy to be myself around Luna. She understands me so well. Silence isn't awkward around us, it's actually comforting. I sighed looking at all the papers I've already studied four times each. Luna stood up stretching, "Want to go to dinner now?" I nodded as I got up from the couch I was sitting on.

"Didn't Dumbledore say that he was announcing the Tri-Wizard Tournament contestants after dinner?" I asked as we walked to the Great Hall. "I think he might of mentioned something like that. Did you hear that the Weasley twins made an aging potion so that they could put their names in the goblet?" The Weasley twins, Fred and George were hilarious pranksters. Almost as bad as Peeves the Poltergeist, but much nicer.

We were all sitting at the tables, waiting for Dumbledore to speak. "From Beauxbaton's Academy of Magic, Fleur Delacour!" Everyone clapped, and Fleur walked over and stood a little to the left of Dumbledore. Another paper flew out of the blue goblet. Dumbledore read the name out loud. "And from Durmstrang Institute, Viktor Krum!" Viktor Krum pumped his fist as he walked over to where Fleur was standing.
"And from our very own school," Dumbledore caught another paper that flew out. "Cedric Diggory!" He yelled as an attractive sixth year boy with tousled brown hair, smiled and walked over to stand with Fleur and Viktor. "There you have the contestants for the Tri-Wizard Tournament-" Dumbledore's last sentence was cut off short, because the goblet started glowing yellow and orange. A small paper flew out of it and into Dumbledore's hand. He mumbled something incoherent. Then he said it clearly this time, "HARRY POTTER!" Upon hearing this everyone gasped. Harry Potter stood up and walked over to the contestants. Dumbledore was shocked, but he let Harry pass to go stand by Cedric Diggory. "You are all dismissed." The shock on his eyes didn't show in his voice. Dumbledore was trying to be calm.

A little while later, Luna and I were up in the Ravenclaw dorm room where our beds were. "Hey Luna, I'm going to go take a bath in the prefect's bathroom." It had been a long day, and I needed to think. "Okay," she said smiling and throwing me my green silk pajamas.

I've never really looked at the pictures on this side of the castle, so I was walking and looking at them. All of the sudden I bumped into someone.
"Watch where..."
"Oh I'm so sorry..."

We both trailed off, looking at each other and smiling. As he turned to walk away and said, "hey, what's your name?" The butterflies in my stomach started fluttering like crazy. "Gemma. Williams." I bit my lip. " Draco Malfoy," he held his hand out for me to shake. His hand was warm, opposed to my cold hand. "Sorry about bumping into you earlier. Erm, I wasn't watching where I was going." He ran a hand through his white, blonde hair. "Oh, here's your um, pajamas." He said handing the green pajamas back to me. Somehow they ended up in his hands when we ran into each other. "It's my favorite color." He pointed at the emerald green. "Oh. Yeah. It's mine too." I hoped he couldn't hear my heart beat accelerating.
"Wait, I think we have Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts together." He said putting his hands in his pockets. "Yeah, um I think we do." I smiled. He started walking backwards. "Bye Gemma." Draco flashed me a smile. "Bye." I said as he walked towards the Slytherin common room. Wow. I definitely need that bath to calm my nerves now!
