Finally the last day of school rolled around. As we rode the carriages to the train, a glum fog set over the grounds. It was almost like Hogwarts was depressed for the student that was lost. No one was joyously laughing or joking as usual. There was cautious whispers here and there. Cedric had touched almost everyone in his own way. He was an innocent seventeen year old that didn't need to die.
Even though Harry Potter had said You-Know-Who was back, and he killed Cedric Diggory, I wanted to believe what Harry said, but it was hard to believe. I mean wasn't You-Know-Who completely destroyed? Everything was so blurry, and confusing right now. I couldn't think. My mind was as foggy as Hogwarts' weather.
Last night I had a nightmare about seeing Cedric's maimed and distorted body laying carelessly on the hard ground.
A tear escaped from my eye and rolled down my cheek. I hurriedly wiped it before anyone noticed.A short ride later, we got on the train. After our bags were packed in the top of the compartment, Draco shut the sliding door to give us all privacy. He came and sat next to me and grabbed my hand. "It's going to be okay." He promised.
"Yeah, but how do you know that?" I whimpered sadly. He put his free hand under my chin. "I know, because you are the strongest witch that I know." Draco brushed his lips softly against mine, and I sighed. "Not gonna argue with that one." I joked lightly.
He chuckled, as Astoria and Luna smiled across from me. "Everything is going to be okay." Draco repeated as he planted a kiss on my forehead.
This year was so exhausting. I hoped that my fifth year was a bit less depressing and stressful.
Well a girl can hope....
