We didn't have school a week before the dance. Every student had the option to visit home, and exchange gifts with their families, and come back for the Yule Ball. I was going home on Monday and coming back on Friday, five days before the dance. Astoria and Luna were coming to my house with me, and we were going to find Yule Ball dresses. Astoria was going with a fourth year from Hufflepuff named Mason Beck. Luna was going with Fred Weasley who was a Gryffindor. And I was going with Draco Malfoy *squeals*.
Astoria and Luna were waiting for me out in the courtyard. "Hey." I said straightening my dark green sweater, and walking up to them. "Are you guys all packed?" I asked. Luna nodded and we both looked at Astoria. "Well I start to pack, then I leave for something, and it's all back on my bed and out of my trunk!" She looked frustrated as she bit her lip.
"Do you think it's Pansy? I mean she probably knows we're friends, and she could've hexed your trunk." I said. "Well, I guess she could've. But I don't think she's smart enough to research how to hex my trunk." Astoria still looked frustrated. "You could always use an Undetectable Expanding Charm on a bag or something." Luna shrugged.
"If I bring a bag to you, can you put the charm on it?" Astoria asked Luna smiling. "Oh, definitely." Luna answered with a smile.
Astoria brought her wand out of her pocket. "Accio bag." A second later a small black bag with sequins flew into her arms, knocking her wand out of her hand.
She handed the bag to Luna after she picked up her wand off of the ground. Luna held the black bag in her hands while she was remembering the charm. "Illusionisiment." She had her wand to the bag, as soon as she said the spell, the tip of her wand glowed teal. After, she tossed the bag to Astoria. She looked at it like she didn't know what to do with it. "Put your arm in it." Luna said.
Astoria held the bag tightly with one hand as she stuck her other hand into the bag. On the outside the bag was still the same size, but inside Astoria had her arm in all the way to her her elbow. "Wow." She said in astonishment. "Thanks!" She hugged Luna. "Now you can pack everything for when we go to Gemma's house." Luna said as we started walking towards the school hallway.
I could already tell that this holiday was going to be so fun!
